I think most of the regular posters gave up due to the number of lurkers and misinformation.

The 39" Husky is still $38 in these parts. It's a decent cabinet for light weight stuff. Don't even try to pack it full of tools or hardware though. It has plastic casters and 50 lb. rated drawers. For $38 though, I think about trying to find a second one. I'd really rather have the 50 something inch 9-drawer though.

I just haven't found any good tool deals at HD lately. The only thing my HD is good for is clearance light bulbs.

Seriously though, where did everybody go? It is very quiet in here :(

Well, banned camp doesn't let you post home depot deals.

I have not seen any great deals in a while, used to like to just see what people were getting. The banter was good as well, but I have a feeling between home depot and GJ that this thread may fade off into the background. Thanks to all the members that posted deals, I am not adding this thread to my subscription list, not worth it anymore. :(

Penny items still alive around Atlanta. Found the 3-1 charging cables for a penny, they must have had around 15. Left some behind. Store also had a Square D 30/30 200 amp panel that was a penny but the panel had no upc on it so I left it.

I never seem to have anything on clearance for long at the local store. A guy I worked with a long time ago works there now; I'm not sure if he was bs'ing me but he said they are usually gone quickly.

I lost out on a unicorn today. I found the old Paslode Framing nailer with a sku sticker for the finish nailer on it. The item wouldn't scan, they couldn't find it anywhere in the system. When the manager finally came back, all he offered was to ring it under the finish nailer sku and take $50 off. He wouldn't go for last clearance price. It wasn't worth $350 to me, I'm sure he went home with it.

I went to a new HD that I have never been to before. It turns out that I found a "gold mine". :) I found something that I suspected was a penny. I verified that with the computer before going to the SCO. I grabbed some other .03 items and threw them in the cart. I went to the SCO when it was busy with only 1 SCO register open. But the SCO lady pressed "see attendant" or something like that before I could even do a price check on the suspected penny item. It rang up a penny like I thought. The SCO lady said "I cant sell you that!" I was like "what?" We stared at each other a few times. She asked if I had other items in the cart and I said yes. She walked to her computer and "gave me the look to go ahead". I rang up the other items and walked out the door with a penny score! They have 2 more and ill try to get them later. So the penny deals out there. Just dont abuse it!

Thats all HD. Most of that is nationwide, eternally at clearance prices. The Cree have been 5 bucks for over a year here.

Sorry. Ill post up a picture after I go back to HD and get the other ones. Its hard enough for me to find any clearance deals, let alone something for a penny. I dont know how many people read this and with my luck ill post it up and go back to HD and its gone.

To add to this, the meaning behind the different 'cent endings' on the prices? I always see mention of $**.03 or what-not but don't know why that matters besides it has something to do with the discount pricing scheme, I believe?
