My new Gray Tools haul,

1/2" Chrome Sockets
72t 1/2 fixed head with hard plastic handle

3/8" and 1/4" roto heads (Dynamic is Gray's Import line)
The 3/8" roto is super stiff... drag back is insane on it compared to the Canuck 1/2" drive above it

1/4" feels great,

I think these are Harbor Freight in disguise... Not as cheap but lifetime warranty at least and 1/4 the price of snap on

Pocket screw driver

Not pictured are two 6pt wrenches for brake bleeders, also bought some Ullman picks (re badge for Blue Point) and gear wrench palm ratchets

I picked up some SK long-pattern metric combination wrenches. The chrome is nice!

Identical outside of color. I bought the HF 3/8" a while ago to try it myself...I think it *****.

Not sure on the wobble plus. I can't find any info about this set online. Not sure if it's too new, an old promo, etc. I picked it up from ebay.

My first ratcheting screwdriver. For some reason I expected the ratcheting mechanism to be smoother. It seems to "catch" a little at one point in the 360 rotation every time around. Anyone have one and know if this is normal?

Hmmm....should have a very light action...if its New-new have the truck look at it. if its an ebay purchase, disasemble and clean/lubricate the mech...

FYI there are threads on GJ somewhere on the internals. good luck.

+1 I checked the link about taking one apart and lubed it although mine was fine but afterwards, WOW! quieter and smoother after that :)

You should be able to grip the knurled part of the shank between your thumb and pointer fingers, roll it back and forth and get the ratcheting mechanism to spin quite freely. If not it certainly can be disassembled and re-lubed.

Thanks for all the comments on the ratcheting screwdriver. I have been at work all day, but will take another look when I get home. I also contacted Snap On to see if it's normal and to ask about warranty repair service (I ordered this new off their website).

Is there a specific lube that goes in these? I have no plans to take it apart myself since I bought it brand new from SO, but just for future reference I guess.

I did find the perfect remedy added led strips , mag switches with normally closed/open optio s so you can wire them your way. If your handy with soldering even better.

Yes i have about 50 bucks into both lockers, etter than 450 from snap on . With 4 strips (2 on top ,2 on the top inner panel of the locker) all out of site when you open and work great. Though it took more strips to get the same lighting as the snap on unit . With a bit of time and work ill be adding more to the back of the lockers as well as my power drawer. The possibilities are endless

To the goods

Here is the parts used on amazon

Magnetic Switch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0009SUF08/?tag=atomicindus08-20

LE 16.4ft LED Flexible Strip Lights, 300 Units SMD 3528 LEDs, 12V DC Non-waterproof, Light Strips, LED ribbon, DIY Christmas Holiday Home Kitchen Car Bar Indoor Party Decoration (Daylight White) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HSF65MC/?tag=atomicindus08-20

LE Power Adapter, Transformers, Power Supply For LED Strip, Output 12V DC, 3A Max, 36 Watt Max, UL Listed https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DKSI0S8/?tag=atomicindus08-20

You can add connector if you dont wsnt to solder . I also used the 3w power supply vs the 2a you can buy with the lights because i may run alot more and utilize one power source.

Thanks man, should save me some double sided tape! I got a set that are little housings with I think 5 cob leds in them, then a couple feet of wire and another housing, 10 or 12 total. Stupid brite on a 9 volt battery, but I have a converter already as well. I'm just gonna mount the rocker switch inside. Thanks again for your inspiration.

I got a screaming deal from Amazon for this AC fitting crimp tool. I ordered it on December 4,2016 Amazon shipped on Dec 6 and the tool arrived at my door on December 7.
I got the Snap-On toolbox for $50 on Craigslist and the Snap-On retractable for $20.

Got some new Hex sockets... but I posted them the other day... Here is the socket organizers I found on Amazon... I got the red set (1/4,3/8,1/2) a few months ago... they didn't offer other colors at the time.

They now have BLUE and BLACK... but the black has a different brand name. They are all the exact same quality and finish/material. Very high quality.

I will be modifying them slightly... there is a hole on both ends... I plan on putting a drawer pull in one end so it is easy to grab the whole rail.
