After the vacation to RI with it's 75* low humidity weather, I wasn't looking forward to working up in the mezzanines when it is 95* and high humidity.
I had purchased a portable room AC to use in the office of the shop but never committed to cutting a hole in an exterior wall to exhaust the AC. The portable AC served double duty last September when the hurricane knocked out the house power.
While cleaning up and working on the other small projects, I heard a familiar sound. I had another brain fart.

Instead of cut a hole, why not put a piece of plywood in door frame. Eureka! Its a metal frame so magnets will hold it in place and I had a repurposed sheet of 3/8 plywood. Getting the measurements, I only had to trim two sides by a 1/4 inch. It's a snug fit but one corner needs a magnetic to hold it in place. The saved face frame from the kitchen cabinet I disassembled was the perfect thickness for the exhaust adapter. The adapter is a snug fit but I added the lock for added insurance. Someday I'll need to paint the plywood.
I now have AC in the office whenever I want. It will come in handy the next couple of days.
