I wonder how good are these stands compare to HF... I need a set of
jack stand and the price is right.

Thanks!!

Well, here goes 7 hrs of my life!

So far, I have .35 in points. Seems I'd have to play for days to get these deals!

Umm.. yes. Sears is not just going to give you points without any effort :) I usually do this on a laptop while watching TV + my fav beverage. When the TV goes into commercial, I play these games.

Not a big sale, but usually these handy lights do not go on sale much anyway. In my area some color are cheaper for whatever reason.

Man, I'm regretting not getting all the ratchets I wanted before the sale ended. Guess I will just have to wait for the next one... I did get the 3pc 85T set, so I'm happy with that...

Here's what the prices changed on some of those ratchets (I rounded the .49/.99 up)...

Sale / Current

3pc 84T - $43 / $70

1/2" 75T - $16 / $20
3/8" 75T - $12 / $20
1/4" 75T - $10 / $15

1/2" Flex - $17.00 / $25
3/8" Flex - $10.50 / $20

I'm sure they will have another sale for Labor day, or maybe sooner...

EDIT: I just realized the 3pc set is the 84T, not 75T. I do not need it, but would be nice to have. @EOC_Jason you got a great deal!

Dont buy the 3/8" 75T alone. Might as well get the set for the same price ($20):

picked up more left over USA pliers today. Got some 6" slip joint pliers for 5.50 and another 3 piece set for 15. There's still USA pliers out there!

On another note, for months I've got surprise points 6 off 6, 8 off 8, etc... every weekend. Last weekend I got nothing good. Maybe they felt sorry for me, this weekend they gave me a 20 off 20!

Yeah, I actually already own both those sets, bought around Christmas when they were $20 with $10 back in points (each)... :)

I really like the SAE set as it goes up to 1".

I was just keeping track of their price changes of some of those ratchets and thought I would share.

Are you a SYW Max member or something? I NEVER get any equal dollar off amounts. It's always stuff like $8 off $40 or $10 off $100... :(

Some very interesting "50% back in points" offers in work shoes and boots.
Points expire in 14 days so know what you are going to buy with them beforehand.

Wow, Sears is at their pricing game again... Jacking up the prices even more than yesterday... And people wonder why they aren't making money... :headscrat

(Sale earlier in the week / Yesterday / Today)

3pc 84T - $43 / $70 / $90

1/2" 75T - $16 / $20 / $27
3/8" 75T - $12 / $20 / $22.50
1/4" 75T - $10 / $15 / $18

1/2" Flex - $17.00 / $25 / $34
3/8" Flex - $10.50 / $20 / $24

Imagine if prices fluctuated like this at HD/Lowes on all their stuff... Yeah, they would be going out of business too...

Is there a price-tracker site for Sears, like Camel does for Amazon? I would love to see some of those historical charts...

The SYW site usually has a Price Tracker option for items sold by Sears or Kmart. Use that option to subscribe to the item with the price point you want to be alerted about, and then clicking on the option again will bring up a line chart.

The tracker option isn't really new, but some restriction is blocking pricing before 2017.

My understanding from other sites, the Craftsman Pro 4-ton jack stands dropped from $19.99 to $17.99 last night, and now are up to $22.99.

Last update on the price tracker is from 7/14, so I'm quite curious whether the price tracker will include the 17.99 price when it updates.

I just checked a few items, and it doesn't seem like the price tracker records every price change, it did miss a couple of the low prices that I recorded manually... Oh well, better than nothing...

Anybody else having trouble with the Multimeter ordering?

When I click on the other 3 it shows they are available in the store.

The MM does not list the store, it says "undefined" and will not let me order it. Says may be available in store or something.

"There was an error adding your item to your cart. Please try again later."

Looks like trouble with the location/inventory system.

Sears is running a Friends and Family sale through mid week. Depending on the store the discounts can be pretty decent.

The Sears by me by the Mexican boarder: prices raised back to MSRP or more then 10% off.

The Sears 30 miles north of that in the nice area: Every sale price except "online only" available in store, PLUS the 10%. Plus additional store specific sales.

This is important for those surprise point offers good "in store only" YMMV

That's what it says for me too... If I click on the details it says it *may* be available at the store near me. But if that's an online-only price... :headscrat

Also, Sears has an offer of free points. Only $3.33 per month, and likely each allotment expires after 30 days (or less) but still free is free. Takes 60 days to arrive, will Sears even be around in 2 months??

Just fill out this form and drop in the mail. It's super tough to find on the website, I had to resort to taking a screenshot from my phone.

Expires in a week.

Awesome, printing that form out now and mailing it...

On a side note, has anyone had issues with the SYW Max program? I signed up like around January for the free trial... And for some reason it keeps renewing my free trial??? Like now it's says it's good till 9/28 I think??? Not complaining, and no I haven't been charged... It does say free trial... I guess it's just another mess-up in their system...

Says you have to send a copy of your Photo ID. It doesn't specify anything like a Driver's License or Government issued ID. Can you send some kind of bogus Photo ID? Like from Beer Drinkers Anonymous, Duck Hunters Club, or something bogus like that? I hate giving them my real id.

There is no way I would send copy of my photo ID (driver license, gov issued, whatever) to anyone. That is like asking someone to please steal your identity.

Now lets see, Sears, as we know, which is (for the lack of words here) poorly managed, is asking for a copy of your ID for some points. What could go wrong? :lol_hitti

I would jump on this if available in my area. My order was cancelled.

I agree with you. I did a bit of digging on this offer. The address that you have to send the form to and ID is:

Shop Your Way Points Program
PO Box 30470
Salt Lake City, UT 84130-0470

That PO Box in Salt Lake City is NOT Shop Your Way. It is Synapse Group, who evidently is the magazine distributor selling magazine subscriptions. If you go to Ripoff Report, and search for Synapse, there are 191 complaints. And then go to BBB and there are 571 complaints. Basically the complaints involve ripping you off and charging you for magazines you didn't order, or people that canceled subscriptions after the free trial and they kept charging you, racking up a large overdue bill, then sending you to collections. And various other unscrupulous wheeling and dealing. I'd steer clear of these ripoff artists.

No way would I send any kind of ID to them. Also, no way I would send them my Name/Address/Phone Number, and Shop Your Way Member ID.

My recommendation is to walk away from this magazine points offer, might come back to bite you later.

Oh, and I have those same Gearwrench flex ratcheting ratchets. They are good, but I feel like the $30 sale price is kind of what they are worth. Okay price, but not really a stellar deal.

Thanks for the research that you did  This is a good warning for everyone to NOT participate.

RE Gearwrench flex wrench - thanks for the input. I thought that was a decent deal. Now I do not feel so bad that they cancel my order. Maybe they will go cheaper in the future!

FFS-Only sears and walmart can make a website that pisses you off while you're trying to spend your money.

Can someone tell me why the $6 off $10 that is expiring today won't apply to this lisle/cman tool? No other offers are applied either.

you are not alone, i am having the same issue. interestingly enough, if i put more than 25$ in my cart, it gives me 10$ off, which is not listed anywhere, with "invalid date" listed as the expiration date.

making this kind of stuff hard only pisses people off. dont offer me stuff if you are not going to let me use it.

Because they have messed up their system so much trying to manipulate shoppers that nothing works right...

I've had surprise points before where I wanted to buy a certain item. I added it to my cart and it was way past minimum price needed. Nothing showed up. I removed that and added the next higher model and then the surprise points showed up... :dunno: Didn't bother buying more expensive model because it was a lot more and not what I wanted...
