Usually $x.97 and $x.47 indicate clearance, but it doesn't say that on the listings, so it may not be. Here are some more of these deals, most ~50% off.

$10.97 Left Cut Aviation Snips (made in USA by Midwest) http://www.sears.com/craftsman-comp...lerId=Sears&prdNo=11&blockNo=11&blockType=G11

$9.97 Straight Cut Snips (made in USA by Midwest) http://www.sears.com/craftsman-comp...lerId=Sears&prdNo=41&blockNo=41&blockType=G41

$14.97 14oz Rip Claw Hammer http://www.sears.com/cm-claw-hammr/...lerId=Sears&prdNo=36&blockNo=36&blockType=G36

$16.47 Ratcheting Tube & Pipe Cutter http://www.sears.com/craftsman-ratc...SellerId=Sears&prdNo=2&blockNo=2&blockType=G2

$74.97 50' Hose Reel (assembled in USA I believe) http://www.sears.com/craftsman-zill...lerId=Sears&prdNo=44&blockNo=44&blockType=G44

$89.97 14" Chop Saw http://www.sears.com/craftsman-cm-1...SellerId=Sears&prdNo=5&blockNo=5&blockType=G5

There are more, you can search through them here: http://www.sears.com/search=craftsm...utoSearsKmartFltr=true&pageNum=1&levels=Tools

I really like this water hose nozzle. I have two. Sale for $9 from $21.

Those are the good ones.

I bought some like that from Harbor Freight, but they are nowhere near the quality of these, even though the HF one looks very similar in a Chinese kind of way.

The one that I have that is identical to the Craftsman one is marked Bonaire and it is very good and identical to the one marked Craftsman.

I went to my local store today and discovered a few channel lock pliers were on clearance as well as the "old" usa made craftsman pliers ( for anyone from chandler,AZ or nearby its the sears at the chandler fashion mall )

Might want to check your local store to see if any are left. Grab one of each and do a price check.

526 6.5 slip joint pliers for 6.47
369 linemen pliers for 12.97
357 end cutters for 11.47

2-piece craftsman pliers set(USA) for 11.97

also saw the single 9 inch pliers(USA) for 8.97
Would you guys all please include links?

The above pliers deals are all in store only and very YMMV. Some stores have them at clearance, others don't. Online prices don't reflect actual savings.

Definitely YMMV. The local Sears do not have any of these deals.

I think the black handled Western Forge (WF) pliers are leftovers from the June/July clearance sale that Sears had to purge the WF pliers form their shelves. (see pg 238 post 4757 of this thread for the details).

I've seen very few loose WF pliers at local stores but they were nothing I needed. I stocked up when they were 50% off. :D

FYI: I went into Sears a couple of days ago and it seemed like they were clearing out some of their Craftsman C3 19.2V power tools. I found the Craftsman C3 19.2V 4.5" angle grinder (Item # 00951095000P Model # 2904) on clearance for $19.99 (does not include 19.2v battery). There may be other C3 tools on clearance as well. This is only in-store and YMMV. Link to product is here: http://www.sears.com/craftsman-c3-19.2-volt-4-1-2-inch-angle/p-00951095000P

Not quite a deal, but all 3 remaining Sears near me have been pulling USA vintage sockets out of who knows where, and stocking them with the rest of the china.

Every time I go they stock a few more. I buy them. Then 2 weeks later a few more pop up, etc.

I think sears might be doing this on a large scale getting old stock from a warehouse.

I'll consider it a deal since USA sockets command a huge premium and you can get them for MSRP if you are lucky or free with enough points.

Used to be just G2D stuff, the I started seeing GK. Now just yesterday found a really old swivel. When is the last time anyone has seen a -V- socket on the rack at sears?

Thanks. I have to check my local Sears. Last time I was there, all of their sockets are made in China, but I was just browsing quickly while waiting for them to get my stuff from the back.

Do you see these on "real" Sears or one of those hometown smaller Sears?

These are major sears. Every couple more weeks they get some more USA in. I don't need most if the sizes, but anything I don't have I buy as I know I'll never see it for a reasonable price again.

Got these two today after surprise points for $1.

Huge YMMV here guys but if 3 of my sears are doing it, and my buddy up in LA is finding USA where he swears there was none before it wouldn't hurt to check for a deal on a USA socket.

Not the most useful thing in the world but they just got in a pile of USA E Torx sockets too. Weren't there last week. They also had 3 racks full of them in addition to what is pictured. I wanna say maybe 30 sets. If sears ever puts them on a really good online sale let me know I'll pick one up for anyone that wants.

OK, I see, Yeah, as they were full$$ on the web-site that's what I figured then.

Not sure if this is a HOT DEAL or not, but it's a damn good price for what it is.

I've got most of my non-mechanic tools on shelves right now and I'm tired of vacuuming dust/chips off of stuff all the time, so I picked one up for power tools / other storage...I like deep drawers.
Decent looking bx for the $$$,
wd. be nice for a small metal lathe.

Must resist the temptation to upgrade. My small box is getting full with all the deals I bought.

This one is larger for the same price. It is a workstation instead of rolling cabinet, but I just need more drawer space.

Interesting... I guess Sears must have adopted a FIFO model on their inventory and never rotated old stock... I've gone through my hometown store looking over socket sets and bought the few USA stuff a while back, but now I might take a second look to see what new things might have popped up as they do re-stock occasionally...

well, that is kind of understandable. it isn't bread, after all.

to me, this implies that after the SDB sale of craftsman, they are drawing down their warehouse inventory. they dont need to store it anymore, SDB can deal with that now, and ship directly to the stores. i bet this is happening with a lot of stuff . . . .

Sears is still sourcing their own Craftsman, and they aren't just using whatever SBD makes. They will stick with Apex for the next few years, so there will be two separate Craftsman lines of differing quality depending on who made it (Apex or SBD) and where they are sold (Apex will only be in Sears/Kmart). They most likely are just reducing inventory to reduce storage costs/prepare for bankruptcy.

If anyone is interested, this welder is a fairly good deal for learning scratch start TIG (have to buy a torch/gas still).

It's like the tiny HF inverter welder, but cheaper. Price is best I've seen, but is is a hot buy right now, so no coupons. Accessories are better than the HF one too.

I think they are just redistributing what inventory they had in all of the stores that were closed. No telling what was sitting in the back of these stores when they were closed. My guess, is that is why we are seeing some NOS USA made tools pop up

Sears is eventually going to go out of business. It's better they release the rest of their stock before they have to find a way to send it off to Ace Hardware and the like. :D

What app are you using for the price-tracker on Sears merchandise?

It's on the ShopYourWay website. When you lookup a Sears item you will see a "... More" box, under there is a "Price Tracker" link. You have to set a price and subscribe the first time. Second time you click on that link it shows the chart. It also has an unsubscribe button.

It's not perfect as I've noticed it has missed some low prices that I've seen on items in the past, but it's better than nothing.

Yes, I agree it's good they are liquidating old inventory like that. I just find it odd some of those things were sitting in a central warehouse. I think more than likely they were sitting unsold on the shelves (or back room) of the Sears that have been closing down. Even my local Hometown store up until recently had a handful of USA socket sets (which I bought up and resold). There are still some individual sockets that are USA but it's just not worth buying retail price for those. The Hometown stores don't clearance out like regular big Sears stores do.
