i actually opened the overhead door to get the ladder out, and take down the last of the

lights.
while i was out there, i grabbed a broom and swept up a bunch of sawdust i made 3 weeks ago, cutting up some logs for table decorations for my niece's baby shower.
that led to trying to find the top of my bench......
which led to clearing off a couple shelves.....
filling up so more 5 gal buckets with scrap from around the bench, saw and drill press...
looked at the wasted space in the corner, and starting tearing out a shelf, throwing stuff away. and figuring out a better plan.
i know at least 1/2 of the 8ft long bench is headed for the burn pile, maybe even all of it, if i can find enough scrap laying around to make a heavy stand for the vice.
retrieved a (leftover) artist/drawing table from the basement, instead of scrapping the metal base like i intended, i cut up some scrap boards i had laying around, used them for the new top/ i'm gonna use it for my disk/belt sander instead of the flimsy base/moving dolly i'd been using for 3 years.
i had planned on loading up scrap this weekend, but around back of the garage it's still soggy, and i'd rather not have any more ruts in the yard than i do already. it dawned on me, i could take the radiators, starters and alternators, and copper down for scrap.. i hop i my truck, the tank is sitting on empty
then i remember, kid used it when she moved out last month, no reason to put any gas in it, she dont need it anymore
