Finally putting my truck back together. It's been in the garage since like January...lol TOO long.

Should have the rest of it put together and be able to drive it tomorrow.

My package arrived today with my replacement casters for my
Car dollies. The original units where small and hard
They made moving my Camaro very difficult.
These new casters are 4” and rates and 300lb ea 4800lb ttl.
Great price too $10. Each !!
Now the car moves nice and smooth with now too much
Effort.
So tempting... Seems cheap at $10 each until you remember you have 16 of the things. Or 32 as in my case.

Looks good!

BTW, what are the little "ears" poking out of either side of your hood? I apologize if you explained it before & I missed it.

Not quite in MY garage; had new shoes put on the"new" T-bird. Put air in the spare doughnut tire.

Yesterday replaced the hood support rods.

Other than that just put stuff away...

I finally got out to the garage after a few plumbing issues with my basement laundry tub.
I do not like plumbing, no sir!
So to relax, I usually detail my Mustang but it is in the shop.
So I detailed our 2008 Ranger, it turned 10 years old this year and I am close to 35,000 miles on the OD.
She is still looking and driving like new.
Had to redo the brakes and all new fluids when she turned 8.
She will need tires in the near future too...

Went to the Tavern afterward and had their beer battered Fish Sandwich, MAN, that was tasty!

Couple of smokers outside thought my Ranger was a sweet ride....I think I'll keep her.

I brought my new-to-me Haulmark cargo trailer home today. I used the front hitch on my Ram 2500 to park the trailer next to my shop.
I will change the lighting on the trailer to LED. The license plate bracket looks terrible and it will be changed.

Shop day today. Son and I will be hanging out in the shop all day. I will be doing paint prep work on my band saw restore, and he will be cabinet blasting parts on his CNC mill restoration. A guy is supposed to look at a vertical mill my son has in my shop for sale, and I hope the guy takes it, as I could use the room right now.

Neighbor had some trees cut down so i snagged some burly and crotchy pieces. One is spalted maple and may be too far gone. The other is ash and will need an insane amount of drying time since its so dense.

Cut new dozer axles and relief cuts, old ones are closer in pic. Someone built up with weld and appears to have used a bench grinder to turn(many flat spots)

Pressed in the new oilite bushing that I bored, turned and cut a spiral helix in

Went to store for some groceries and also peat moss...

Pulled weeds out of one raised garden bed, mixed in some peat moss, and planted my onion sets... Hopefully it will be fluffy enough now for the bulbs to grow a decent size. I think last year my soil was too dense / compact...

Depending on weather tomorrow I might try to plant my potatoes if it's not raining...

Installed a Tripp Lite 15amp breaker surge protector on the workbench and routed that up to the 20 amp outlet. Just needed more plugs. Prepping for 220 install for welder soon.

Not a lot; put some stuff away, relabeled a set of 64 aluminum parts bins as some of the labels had gone missing, so I replaced with taller labels that would not fall out so easy.

Today I started to install my lift.
First I had to lay out where my radiant heat tubes were in the slab.
Then lay out the placement...ETC
when it came time to anchor it, I had every size but “ except the dame 3/4”
So a trip to HD and it was secured..
It all went pretty good, not quite finished, I have a few hydraulic and cable
Runs to finish, and then the power connection.
I thought I was shorted my cables and hydraulic lines. And was about to contact
The supplier, then looked inside one of my main uprights
That was stacked upside down, they were hidden in there !
The finish and the quality on this lift is great !

Replaced sparkler plugs and plug boots on the EcoBoost today. Broke every one of the six locks on the coil on plug connectors. Garbage plastic one time factory use.

Made and put up a rack for turning tools out of scrap poplar. Made an inertial sander head from an angle driver and an unused hammer handle that's been taking up toolbox space. Cleaned up.

Outlaw, nice bins!

I started emptying out what I've used as a garage / shed for over a decade and the last storm was nothing but wet snow and took a whopping 6" of the stuff to twist it into a pretzel. Already have a storage container to hold the motorcycles (surprisingly no damage), tool box, tire machine, bike lift, etc

Grabbed my rivet gun so I could reattach the door to my mailbox. The force of the snow coming off the plows was more than it could handle, they aren't made like they used to be. I'm thinking about making my own box this year out it some plate.

It's a hardware device in my pannel. Have had it for a few years it's great. Called energy curb.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B015...nergy+curb&dpPl=1&dpID=51RDlLDRTJL&ref=plSrch

That looks cool, but IDK if I could justify $400.00 + installation time just to record what each circuit uses and have the ability to turn stuff on and off remotely. An electric bill lists total usage for free and 2 minutes with an ammeter tells me individual circuit usage. I turn off everything not in use when I leave the house and can't envision a reason to turn something on when I'm not there.

I had to buy two of them as well to monitor every circuit. When I bought this I couldn't really figure out why my electric bill jumped from 1200Kwh a month to over almost 2k. In addition it saved my *** on a shady ac repair company kinda interesting read.

Also helps to show that an electric car really doesnt hurt your electric bill that much.

Changed the oil and rotated the tires on my F250. Getting ready to replace the plastic cap on the tail gate next.

Also unloaded my "free" tool box.
