I picked up a Tri Power emblem and 1965 NY tag today at the Rhinebeck NY Swap Meet today. I also saw this interesting Malvese Tractor.
What is the Tri Power from? A 67 vette, 59 Eldorado or a 58 Implala. I know it isn't Mopar.

Old metal receiver Daisy 880 BB\Pellet gun (needed seals and buffer and a good cleaning)
I've driven by that Daisy building in Rogers so many times. Supposedly there is a museum close by, but haven't had a chance to check it out.
I used to have that same BB gun as a kid.

That Malvese tractor is really cool. Did you buy it? It looks like it would be fun to take it for a spin!!
We found a few oddball items today. I've never seen a machinist vise like this before with so many positioning options. I think the nameplate is Omni Vise by Victor MFG $20:
...
Stihl MS170 with manual, extra chain and mix. Still has the price tag on it $40:
...
A couple old boat anchors and a bucket of Abalone shells $15:
...
Set of polished CM RHFT ratchets - $1 (Japan??)
...
Misc Items $1/ea:
Also last weekend, I went to an estate sale (if you want to call it that) of a horder. Yes, like you see on TV. Almost all trash\junk and out of nowhere a Mitutoyo 12" Dial Caliper appeared!
That long Bonney wrench is neat. Looks like it was a Not Guaranteed.
That looks identical to the one in my shop, stains and all. Nice find!
So today was the local townwide garage sale - which is usually a yawn tool wise.
At stop #1 there were a lot of various hand tools and such scattered around and the owner wanted them gone. I saw a Milwaukee Sawzall and asked how much - he responded how much do you want to pay? I didn't answer and he threw out $20.00 and I said SOLD! It's a Model 5611 2 speed (1,700/2,400) SPM. There are some new metal blades by Rule "FIT AL" in a container and various new/used blades along with a spare blade retainer and cap screw. The "foot" is mangled but it appears to be a $4.00 part online - with massive shipping of course . . .
At stop #2 there was another bunch of stuff and an empty Kennedy Model 526 machinist chest. A potential buyer was asking prices but I didn't hear the price for the Kennedy, so when he left I asked for the price - he responded $20.00 and I said SOLD! The paint is a bit rough but it has the front panel and the keys.
I bought 2 compact umbrellas for a total of $5.00 later in the day - they are basically disposable in NYC on rainy/windy days.
Pic's are below for the Sawzall and the Kennedy.
Cheers
Jim
Finally a good find at a local moving/estate sale. I almost missed out on the grinder. A guy was asking about it, but his wife wanted to go, so he left it. $15 later and it was mine. The remainder of the stuff was another $15, including a small tube of gun lube for my dad that's not pictured.

Same down here in Monmouth County, Jim! But guess who was on duty!So today was the local townwide garage sale
Glad to hear it, jeff! The last one was the best. Really cool old house, got a pile of tools for 5 bucks. Pics to follow.
Really happy for you, Rickster. I know your change in location has put a crimp in your picking, so good for you!Surprised to find these in the middle of a subdivision garage sale!
Nice! Is that an Atlas?Went to one garage sale, got me a new lathe . 75 dollars and they helped me load it up.

Yes it is. Runs real smooth, all the gears have all their teeth too.
