30 days after purchase. Easiest to just chat online. Price difference is based on the price of the item when you bought it before you used any coupons / points) and the price of the item as it is on the website when you are chatting. It's been pretty quick & painless in my experience.

How difficult is it to get price adjustments after a purchase and how many days after purchase do you have?

Also if I bought during friends and family will they adjust the price difference before the 10% off or just compared to the price after the 10% friends and family?

EDIT: NVM found my answer. 30 days. Just talked with them and got $16 +tax refunded on my C3 Impact Wrench.

Thank you for posting this. Unfortunately I got side tracked after adding one to my cart. I had planned to order 6 of them. Eventually the item said no longer available but it let me place and order for the one in my cart still. I assume it will most likely get cancelled. Anyone had any experience with something similar?

I wouldn't expect it to go back down any time soon, maybe not until next Thanksgiving-Christmas season (which was around when it went down to $25 originally, last fall), if ever. They're trying to save money on shipping costs.

One thing you could try that might help if you still have a local store: an online order for store pickup items and ship-to-home items in the same cart all counts towards the free ship-to-home $35 total.

I've only been watching it for the past couple months, and it's only gone on sale down to $63 in the short amount of time I've been watching it during the F&F sales (which it is now at again). But I did a bit of research and figured out that they seem to be the exact same set as this Channellock set which has never gone lower than $80 on Amazon, and costs anywhere from $83-$115 at other retailers, so even $63 seems to be a pretty good deal.

Once I knew what to look for, I did find one other post in this thread from last year where someone indicated that both of these are made by Wilde Tool.

Anyway, they're pretty nice, especially if you have FREECASH points to spend, so I thought I'd throw that out there.

These two, which are being sold separately looks similar than the big 3 set. Still available for me, but the big set of 3 is not. Also the picture shows made in USA.

If you live near any of the stores on the April 27-mid-July liquidation schedule, someone on SD reported today that at least one of those locations (Reno), and I'm guessing all of them, currently has any item under $5 free, $5 off any item $5.01-$100, and 5% off any item $100.01+. There's not a whole lot of things under $5 regular price at Sears, so they will probably go quickly.

Update: A later respondent on SD claimed that either the original poster was mistaken/misleading or the management at that store was doing something nonstandard - that's apparently supposed to be the policy at any non-liquidating store when prices are incorrectly marked, though I've never seen them do anything more than give me the lower of marked or system price.

If you're working in a tire shop, I could see investing in an extra battery... or if you have points about to expire... but I've used it on 4 - 5 cars throughout a day and haven't had an issue. In fact, when I put it on the charger afterwards, it wasn't long before it said it was full.

The prices must have been eliminated to "protect the innocent" but we all know the "regular price" was $399.99 and the offered "sale price" was $109.99 for the cabinet. The cabinet she offered me was the 48" version with the same "regular price" and 25% off and she was willing to offer "For the trouble caused let me honor you 5% discount ".

Look at their timestamps. Some of the answers must be stock answers as they can not possibly type that many words so quickly AFTER "checked with my supervisor"....

FWIW, HD likely would have refused to PM. I've tried the online PM with HD before, and they were very reluctant to do it - first said Lowes was not a competitor, then they only PM items in-stock, and on and on.

Sorry to hear that. When are the pliers supposed to be ready for pick-up?

I do not order spark plug pliers, but fwiw, I have ordered many items that has pick-up date 2-3 months in the future. I never have problems. I do notice that starting maybe two or three months ago, Sears are about one week behind the schedule. So if my item is scheduled to pick up 5/8, usually by 5/15 it is ready. The local store knows me well, they do not even bother calling me that my items are ready (they used to do this). I have told them that my wife, who has weekly meeting nearby, will stop by once a week, and just pick up whatever that are available.

99% of time, I do not need what I ordered immediately, so I do not care if it is late a week for pick-up. Understand that is not the case for everyone.

He had not ever been to a Sears store. I presume he was off shore somewhere. I explained to him that the Sears stores I've been to in the past several years are pretty empty and not well run.

My spark plugs wire pliers were for pickup beginning of March and they never came in. Bought them with $ from a gift debit card that is long ago used up and discarded, so if Sears eventually cancels my order, the refund will go into outer space.

You can always have them refund it to points if you chat online.

My sparkplug pliers never came. I had a much earlier estimated date too. My estimate was in March. Support was pretty useless. They told me I had to go to the store to resolve the issue since I had the item shipped to store.

I bought a C3 Jig Saw like a month ago, the ETA was May 3rd I think... Then May 10th... Now on their website if you order it says May 17th, and I bet when the 10th rolls around I'll get an email saying my date has been pushed back...

I've had success with Sears price mistakes throughout the years, but they were usually for items that came directly from Sears. I guess their authorized suppliers are a bit smarter.
