Thanks for stopping in. The Dust Deputy is a great addition. Don, I ordered it online several years ago. I wished I’d looked at cart ideas before jumping on mine. This seems to be the more popular setup.
I just learned Home Depot has a version. I like the idea of the lower profile.

With the birdhouse (mew) out of the way, time for some shop love.
While moving the panels into the shop, the last one decided to leave its mark. Safety tip of the day, make sure you Florida-style steel toe safety shoes haven’t expired.
Side note: if I don’t come home with cuts and scrapes, the wife might think I’m at the sports bar drinking beer.

Hehehe... I can't judge. I got caught out while arc welding in crocs and doing the crazy dance. I think it was something like "Shake it off" playing on FM.

I was helping pass 8m/24' corrugated roofing sheets up to my dad on the roof by sliding them up over the side of a roof beam. About the second to last one slipped just as I pushed it overhead and came straight back at me so fast I couldn't slow it down enough. Right in the kisser. Though for sure it knocked my teeth out. Just a nice split fat lip. My dad let the last one slip too and I ducked out of the way(not a slow learner eh) and it sunk a good 1.5' into the turf.

PS. Love my Dust Deputy!

Where was that jerky, I looked all over, and under.

I think you'll find the taller dust collector with the cyclone separator on top will catch a lot finer debris. Maybe not an issue but that is a better design.

Shorty, i just bought one of the home depot dustoppers the other day. That thing works great and is really low profile so I can store it under my table saw bench. Only issue is it can fill a 5 gallon bucket quick when used with a planer. Other than that its awesome.

With the new vacuum, I wanted to have a cart for both the vacuum and dust deputy. Found a piece of old loft flooring the right size so knock this out.
For casters, looked at my stash and had a bunch of vintage chair casters.
The little fastening points were bent in so a little work, like new.
The finished product. I need to clamp bucket down because pulling on hose caused it to fall over.

I was wearing gloves!!! I was headed home when I remembered I left the siding on the trailer so a quick u-turn was in order. I figured what could happen with only 5 sheets and knowing I have to be careful. It is just a light scratch and Andy was wanting blood for not finding the jerky.

Socks? Darn I should have because it would have been enough. Yikes on sliding sheets. Glad you only got the fat lip. A little more speed, stitches would be in order.

Yes on the flops. I have the sheet metal, unguarded grinder and of course the battery box. I better make sure my 3 first aid kits are restocked. lol
