Milwaukee inspection camera for $99 on Amazon, as of Feb 1st
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001AOVBHG/?tag=atomicindus08-20
I noticed the price drop as well. Don't know quite what to make of it. I don't need one but could find uses for one. Eh, I'll probably just wait until the next generation of inspection cameras comes out. Hopefully at that point they'll be able to make better use of current digital camera tech.

1) Any purchase from Grainger, MSC or J&L ask for a discount they will automatically go 10% at least off book prices, I got 30 off on 5 bench grinder wheels for 5 of us.

2) SnapOn has repo specials talk to your local dealers 40-60 off list prices
and lots of stuff available for zero down zero interest.

3) ANY internet provider, ISP, no matter how long you have been with them call and tell them you are either going to QUIT or move to a new company, they will either give you (Verizon gave me 30 off per month for 2 years) set discount or a cash off bonus of 100-200 bucks.

I was at sears today and saw the Gearwrench ratchet nutdriver P/N 8908 with a $7.99 sale sticker. Brought it up front and it scanned at that price.

http://www.gearwrench.com/catalog/s...geardriver_nutdriver/setdetails.jsp?part=8908
That's a heck of a great price, nice find!

That's great to know, thanks for sharing! Although, if you're patient enough, you never have to pay full retail at MSC. I keep their sales flyers at hand, and buy during random 35%-off sales.

i'd say those are some good deals on torque wrenches. i really don't like buying used, but i'd consider it from them.

No it's not. Look at the right side - price is still $99, but buyers are going to have to wait 2-4 weeks.

oh weird, never seen that before. I wonder how many things I've passed on because I only checked the main price...

Don't worry, it's not just you - as evident from slickdeals and elsewhere, a LOT of people never notice that Amazon's price will not be the main price if it's not the cheapest or quickest shipping option.

With ISP etc you may need to ask to speak with something like customer retention, otherwise the person may not have authority to do anything.

I think he means sets 47239, and 47238, normally priced at $60. The prices did not drop on the website.

yup, sorry about that. i just saw them in the clearance section in store. I guess sears is just going to sell the individuals and the 12pc set.

i find the website doesn't ever show store clearance prices.

Tyler Tools has a great email deal sheet. Today's has some 50% of tools, notably a Milwaukee 7-9" Sander for $85. Use the code tt020510. While you're there, sign up for their email list.

I'm not affiliated with TT but I bought a dewalt drywall gun for $50 plus $5 shipping last week, it was purchased late on the 27th, shipped on the 28th, and at my door on the 30th.

Service!

I have purchased a number of refurb'd Dewalt tools over the years from them without any problems.

This may be in your store only. I picked up 9pc wrench sets on clearance at my local Sears a few years back, and then they eventually restocked them with the same wrenches but in a different package.

Then I picked up a 13pc set back when there was a double-stacking 20% + 20% discount. This kind of a discount is rare, but happens once or twice every spring or so.

Just an FYI for you guys . Check your local Sears stores for clearance tool boxes . Mine had them in the garden department . I picked up a 5 drawer rolling cabinet and an 8 drawer quiet glide top chest for $69.00 each tonight :D. The top chest is also in the " RARE " blue color LOL and they had a pile of stuff there .

I went today to one of the two local Sears Hardware stores to check for clearance tool items.

The one had (6 to 12 sets of) the metric and (6 to 12 sets of) the standard Craftsman 8 piece, 12 point, low profile socket sets for $8.97. On the Sears website, the clearance price is $19.97: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00942800000P?keyword=craftsman+low+socket+set. I purchased 1 of the metric, low profile socket sets.

I am going to check the clearance inventory of the second Sears Hardware store tomorrow in my area. If anyone cannot locally purchase the Craftsman low profile sockets, I can pick them up at my local Sears Hardware store for you. The cost is $9.53 each ($8.97 + tax; standard or metric sets available) plus $6.00 for U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail flat rate shipping (includes delivery confirmation). I accept Paypal or a money order. Please send me a private message if interested.

Thanks,

Dave

check your sears outlet for 50% off tool chests. there's a variety at the one near me.

i question some of the quality in regards to craftsman chests but some deals are just too good to be true. one for me is a 40" 12 drawer ball bearing for $200, maybe less out the door. for a diy non career guy this may fit my needs fine.

IKT, i think that it is a bumper to bumper store. Like i said, could be a nationwide sale on them through wix.
