didn't want to keep polluting the thread, but yes.

not all unions are constricting, e.g. https://www.zoro.com/zoro-select-hose-mender-38-in-barb-brass-6afh5.

and i've connected different sized hoses and pulled fluids out of all kinds of tanks. if you think rubber hose is too thick or has too high a wall thickness, use some flexible copper tubing. thread sealant helps there.

also, pro tip: viscosity thins when warmed.

i honestly don't get the skepticism over an $8 tool that works a treat.
Great! Thank You!

Can someone confirm the item number or provide a link?

I'm getting 806916 as "does not exist". The Troy Bilt I am finding is unavailable anywhere, including several of the stores above. That one is Item # 961611 Model # 020712

When items are discontinued you cannot input the item number into Lowe’s.com. Try to google Troy-Bilt 2800 Lowe’s, should come up with a link. Or try this link: https://lowes.com/pd/Troy-Bilt-2800-PSI-2-3-GPM-Cold-Water-Gas-Pressure-Washer-CARB/1000178201

Was at the Commerce Twp MI store a few hours ago and they had two of the Troy Bilts left, along with two of a slightly better model for $87, down from $399. I passed because my dad already has one I can borrow, but boy was it hard to lol.

The LiquiVac has been a popular item on here. I just got mine in yesterday and haven't opened to check it out.

About the LiquiVac: I think most mowers have an oil drain plug under the mower deck so draining the oil isn't too much of a pain.

But I think most (all?) Honda mowers do not have an oil drain plug. It is a real pain IMO to change the oil in a Honda mower because you need to elevate it on some kind of platform so that it is higher than the oil drain pan, then tip the entire mower onto its side, being careful not to let the mower tip right over while carefully aiming the oil stream. I'm thinking oil changes on my Honda are going to be a lot easier and cleaner now.

I just tip my Honda mower over the storm drain out at the curb twice a year. Easy peasy.

I picked up two liquid vacs one for gas and one for oil, these will come in really handy changing the oil on a Mercruiser V6 on the boat, the current drain is so slow it takes several hours for it to drain out.

Has anyone seen these for lower than 299? My store has 2 in the clearance section both marked 299 ($10 off retail o_0). Waiting for it to go way lower. 0ca2416d92ed763709792e5a48e72fab.jpg

I can't even imagine how small the hose would have to be to fit in my dipstick tube? Like someone mentioned earlier though, it would probably work great for a transmission.

I drained my plow truck through the dipstick tube b/c the drain plug is super buggered. Took 4 days using aquarium tubing. I didn't vac it, just sucked to get it going.

i got one for pulling the gas out of lawn equipment to winterize them, but it says it has leather seals inside...will gasoline destroy this thing????
