This 41" Craftsman tool chest is coming up at $275 for me. Seems like a good deal.

A friend just alerted me about an extra 10% for tools on Sears.com (exp 3/2).

Price for the locking pry set is now $26.99.

If you already purchased it, ask for Price Protection to get the price difference refunded.

I don't know why they created a second webpage for this set, but they listed the full price as $64.99 (vs $99.99 on old page). :headscrat

Craftsman 3 piece Locking Flex Pry Bar Set $29.99

Ship-to-store, or free S&H on $59+ (spend minimum $59 OOP)

Were your pry bars made in Taiwan?

With the way Sears.com prices can fluctuate, it's a bit of a risk waiting for someone to report where they are made now.

Yes, mine (24in and 8in) are both made in Taiwan.

And agree it is a risk. After seeing the price now at $26.99, I jumped on this. Thank you for posting the updated price! I can see that 2019 can be bad for my wallet. Less SYW points so I have to use more OOP :lol_hitti

I have a feeling that this is like so many other tools, the price goes lower and lower then that is it. No more of them. The magnetic panel is one example recently. They probably going down the list and trying to move these products that been collecting dust in the warehouse because the warehouse is probably closing. I imagine they do not sell many of these at original price.

Go to retailmenot.com, search for Sears. Click on whatever coupons you need.

Thanks. I will have to do that tonight.

Just got off the chat with one of their agent... some weird hocus pocus they are pulling... kept telling me I would loose the $100 points if they issue me a $3 refund when my order is still over $100 even with that price guarantee differences... and finally I got fed up and tries to cancel the order, they refused say order have been fulfilled, but will not shipped until 03/09/2019??? WTF...

With the nearly-a-week-long  10% off sale, the Greenlee conduit reamer I bought just over a month ago is down to what looks like a new low, $14.36. (I paid $15.16 last month.)
https://www.sears.com/greenlee-conduit-reaming-screwdriver/p-00932706000P

As is the Greenlee screw-holding Phillips driver, $8.06. (This one I'm still within 30 days on, so I'm trying for a second price adjustment.) https://www.sears.com/greenlee-screw-holding-screwdriver-phillips-tip-2-x/p-00903271000P

(Update: Chat rep started to deny me because of coupon misunderstandings, but I told him I got a previous PA on the same item just last week and wanted the new drop difference the same way now, and got it. :) )

I found an unusual tool brand being sold through Sears (must be a Sears Authorized Supplier situation) that I haven't seen mentioned here before. Peddinghaus, a high-end German brand comparable to Wera.

https://www.sears.com/search=peddinghaus
24 items, $50 and up

Peddinghaus has been discussed a few times in other threads. They're a German company that was purchased by MOB, a French company, several years back.

They're mainly known for their quality hammers. I've bought a few of their screwdrivers and pliers, and they are nowhere near the quality of Wera screwdrivers for any of the tools I have. I believe Peddinghaus's screwdrivers and pliers are made in Romania or Taiwan or China, but I don't know for sure, as none of the things I've gotten had a COO anywhere on the tools or packaging.

Maybe not on screwdrivers but I had seen somebody on Toolguyd who bought a Peddinghaus ratchet/socket set say it was comparable to Wera Zyklop. :dunno: The stuff they got was made in Taiwan.

Could be, I don't have any of their ratchets or sockets, or hammers that I've heard are well regarded, just screwdrivers and pliers.

Good price on this during the 10% sale this week on top of it already having been on sale. I paid $17 last year. This is the better cutter Sears offers (vs Handi-Cut and Accu-Cut), as it uses standard utility knife blades instead of proprietary replacements.

Craftsman Edge Utility Cutter

$13.49 sale, $21.99 regularly

I bought this at the beginning of February and am still waiting for it to ship to store. I did pay $14.99 minus points of course.

I'm surprised to see they got new Craftsman cabinets (black with red handles):

https://www.sears.com/tools-garage-...=Craftsman&filterList=Brand&sortOption=NEWEST

The hanging cabinets state they can be mounted with Verstrack, which was a product by Waterloo (now owned by Stanley Black & Decker). Hoping to see SBD supply more products to Sears.

Nice! Presently that 30" wall cabinet at $152 ain't a bad deal relative to the market (Gladiator, Homak etc) and claims near-even $ back in points (10 installments)

Though, they may still have to better on the price for the GJ crowd, because I'm sure many here got Gladiator cabinets for $100 or less.

The Slickdeals site finally has this, and from past experience these type of deals end up with a shorter lifespan after the re-sellers over there start buying.

This. I live in a very populous area and still scooped up a pair of Gladiators only a week ago after the sale had been going on almost a month. I'm sure some of you fellows out in the boonies can find some still going around for under $50 each.

Say, do you know if those cabinets you keep finding were already at the store for a long time? Or were they recently delivered there?

Around here, the larger Gladiator stuff was the first to go when Sears broke up with Whirlpool.

Uh oh, has the new Sears decided to reduce their OPEN STOCK section??? :scared:

40% off or more on open stock tools

Actually, many are coming up as ship-to-store for me, so maybe they're just clearing out stuff from a warehouse.

And from what I saw, a significant amount of the stuff being heavily discounted right now are Max Axess and Mach sockets; the more traditional sockets are mostly just at 10% off for the storewide sale this week.

A bit gimmicky, but it might be good for when assembling a small kit or something.

Craftsman 1/4" x 3/8" Drive Wobble Ratchet $14.39

Ship-to-store, or free S&H on $59 or more orders (must pay at least $59 OOP)

spin_prod_927655512

That is pretty neat, says it's been around for years but I've managed to overlook it. Reviewers say the handle extends when you press that little red button, in addition to having 2 drive sizes in 1 ratchet. Only downside is it's only 32 teeth, and some people don't care for the wobble feel.

They do look kind of neat. ACE has this ratchet with sockets for around $35. In November last year Atwoods had the same set on clearance for $10. I was on my way to work and didn't have time to mess with it. When I stopped back in it was gone. I have one in my cart now just waiting on some more points.

I have the wobble ratchet, it's nice if you want to switch back and forth between two socket sizes. The handle is also pretty short, but extends for more leverage if needed.

I haven't seen these in stock in ages, they came back available a few weeks ago at full price. Now they are on sale. I might pick up a set.

GearWrench 20 pc. Ratcheting Combination Wrench Set $42.74 and not a hot buy so qualifies for $5/35 from RMN. even w/o the coupon thats the lowest ive seen it on here ever

earWrench 36mm 12-point Ratcheting Combination Wrench $54.71 which is comparable to other sites, but this has $15 cash back in points (1 pmt) plus is still eligible for $5 RMN coupon and $2 cashback, though i think the $15 in points is for over $50, so might need a filler item

might want to just look at gearwrench in general on sears. the 4 pc big wrenches (sae & met) are on sale for $47 each, plus all extras listed above ^^^

Wow, I wasn't expecting them to do that this week on top of the 10% sale! I could've picked up last night's order today but I didn't know there was going to be such an urgent reason to. :(

^^ if you are trying to price protect, just chat with them and when they tell you that you have to pick your order up first, tell them you did and it must not be reflecting in the system ;)

Ha, good idea! Chat wouldn't let me in late tonight so I'll give it a try early in the morning. It's less than a dollar difference, but it's the principle of it. ;)

Update: Got the refund (as real money back to my payment card since I didn't have quite enough points when I placed the order!), and they didn't even bring up the fact that I hadn't picked up the items yet. :dunno: :)
