Very interesting observations, LS.Comparing the keyways...
Thanks. Even if I managed to convince CINCHOUSE we could take her, behaviorally, she is all white, and sheds like mad. I think it's a no.GREAT scores Lugz!

That can be the location for the new Donner party!
Roy,
It has definitely been cut and the cut end is loose. I thought it might look Plomb-like. Were they used in the toolmobile?

I did all the above and whilst posting things on Gumtree spotted a JOB LOT of tools for £20 just 3 miles down the road.

And the YOU **** award goes to....Almost didn't stop at this place on my way home but my bladder was screaming so decided to kill two birds with one stone. Glad I did! Everything pictured for 325. I know the Nugget set is missing at least a few pieces but not many. Had I been an hour earlier I'd have left with a Long C top chest that was in nearly immaculate condition. It was still sitting on the floor taunting me waiting for the buyer to pick it up. Chrome Vanadium adjustable wrench, 4 Cman wrench racks (1 with Crown logo which I hadn't seen before), Long C punch set missing one, Long C drill index and a Long C wrench case that is going to need a full refurb but no dents and nothing more than surface rust. Glad I had to take a leak.

The ratchet is the Tuttle patent (1,426,127), granted August 15, 1922, and assigned to Frank Mossberg Company. The meaning of the “W. & M. Co.” marking is not known, although I have a few theories I have yet to publish on my 'Early Roaring 20's' thread. They were commonly found in some Mossberg socket sets, in the Sears, Roebuck & Co. Aristocrat socket set, and in one-off socket sets, almost always with handles also marked with W/M logos and Mossberg sockets. What do you mean by "from England"? They were made in the US. Did you buy it from someone in England? Can some tell me approximately how old this W & M Co ratchet from England?
Telegraph sets.radio key thingys.

I was the second guy in!
They do show up at flea markets and such from time to time. I may have a few extras, too. I will check. They are the only sockets that ratchet will turn! It has an 11/16-inch female drive opening.I look forward to seeing if I can find some sockets for it if it ever stops snowing here in the Northeast.
I've no Idea. I only bought the 1 set for me. There were three in the boxs like this and one in plastic, box missing...

Super cool gun and holster. I saved many a fair maiden in my childhood mowing down ne'er-do-wells with one of those. I wonder if they still sell the paper roll caps for those?
Mad suckage awarded ! You could turn the Blackhawk set for at least break even . What drive size is it ? They made a 7/16 size for a little while

Probably not in California. They might hurt or offend someone!![]()
