bmw That 1929 Stanley tools catalog is super cool!!! I'm envious! There's at least 1 SW plane in the group I bought today and posted about just below your finds.
Wow!!! Very cool adjustable Swedish double box wrench, Prichman38! Would you mind cross posting a few more pics over on the DBE thread here: https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?u...hare_tid=304752&share_fid=20318&share_type=t
Nice find. I found the 19in version not too long ago. Didn't even know they made them. I wrongly assumed it was just machinist boxes.Picked this up today :

Nothing life changing, but the price was right.
Stamped steel work bench legs and 8' cross brace...just needs a new top. This was FREE out of the scrap hopper at work.

I was actually an early bird for the first time. $40. thought it was a steal. Now I am regretting it. some drawers are tough to open. One drawer where it holds the slide is cut, and the slide on the other side is damaged. One drawer on the bottom does not open at all.

75 cents a cup at the Vet in the 70's!"Try Joe's beer" $6.50 a case when I was in school in the early 90s.

Even better!Actually, it's a button hook from when shoes had buttons!

That, or it's legit, but made by an OEM we don't know. Not Dietz, Bernz, Coleman, Akron, or AGM.
These days, we're lucky if we get words with more than two syllables in them.Even better! Thanks, Duds, and good to see you.
This really stretches the scope of the thread, but when I was doing some research on J.P. Twaddell, I ran into this paragraph and I really got a kick out of it. Read the yellow highlight.

Can you imagine a time when a trade journal would have writing that reached this level of creativity and mindfulness with this fine a balance of opprobrium and alacrity? So formal and yet so funy! Can you imagine when people in business had this level of discourse with each other? It reads more like a passage from my Mark Twain collection than a bit in some shoe industry stringer's Philly update!
U mean we R Lucky 2 get whole wds!

Just a quick grab this morning before I got on the road for work.
From a small CL Estate sale ad, I picked up this 1/2 drive SO breaker bar and a 3/8”,1/2” CM ratchet, all these plus some misc cut off wheels for $15.
I love this style of the SO grips. The ratchets I keep glancing at, I really don’t need any ratchets, but out of habit I picked up the 3/8 and spun it, it’s a fine tooth and so smooth. Then I couldn’t leave it’s big brother there!
