Great looking space. What did you do for insulation?
Digging the Nissans!

Nice Garage man!! i like the way everything matches. but curious, why get the bowling lane if you were gonna just cover it with steel? did you need it for weight support?
And nice car selection, my mom had a 350, man that was a great car with a 6 speed
Very Nice, Jumpman! Really like the color of those cabinets. keep up the good work, really enjoy your thread!
I like your garage updates especially the cabinets.
Also like the Z32. I also am / have been a Z32 owner since the mid 90s. Great cars for the $. Need more Z updates!
Your new Z looks great. Looks like it was well kept.
I've had 2 just like it, 90 model with same paint and interior.
The 90 model i have now is White with red interior.
Congrats!
Man, good thing you live across the country, you'd be a bad influence for sure.
Love the nissans. Back in high school we cut the top off a D21 and added an sti hood scoop. Never quite completed it, but what a trip.
Had an sr20det swapped 240 for a while. Had it set up pretty nice (stock turbo though) and sold it after I got tired of chasing problems. It hadn't been cared for well before i got it so most of owning it was replacing worn out suspension and such. Miss it for sure today, like most of my more interesting past cars. A z32 has been on my list of must own cars, all it takes is money.
Looking forward to the rest of your build, love how it's all coming together.
Just curious, have you ever worked in .mil aviation? Your attention to detail and ability to generate interesting solutions makes me think you might have. The tool layout too. Great stuff all around!
Bommenpro5, I have made a little progress on the garage recently, but work and some around-the-house projects (which I will share as well) have taken up a lot of my free time in the evenings to post. I'll get you guys caught up since I'm off for the weekend!Hey man, Anny progress on the garage?
Nice garage. Cabinet resto looks great!
~Jim~
Wow man the workbench is awesome and I dig the wall of Vidmar cabinets. Definitely a sweet set up and good taste!
Been hoping for a update also!
Hey, the house across the street from me its coming on the market......I would love a neighbor like you. The down side is it only has a 3-car garage. Seriously, what is the status of the white Z? I look forward to you figuring that out and hearing it run. Cheers,
Michael

you can check your zones, but in my zone grass planting early fall (september-ish) is the best time to plant new grass.
Also, i am with you on those mounts. Maybe one day a US seller with notify their China supplier that are studs are 16" on center
Two 1990 Z's? Those pintle style injectors will get destroyed by the 10% ethanol every 2-3 years. If you haven't yet, upgrading to the newer style injectors will save you a lot of headaches.
Yeah, and Z32s are notorious for succumbing to injector failure for that very reason. I believe the white one has been updated with the newer style injectors, but the black one most likely has the original ones, as everything seems to be original. At some point, I'll make the switch over. Fortunately, I live close to a gas station that sells ethanol-free premium fuel, which I've been exclusively using in the black Z since getting it home.
You got lucky with that gas station. I owned a used 90 for about 10 years, mostly wrenched on it myself. What a PITA car, especially as it aged and everything got brittle.
