I’d try calling. I didn’t have to wait long at all to speak to a human.

I'm staring to feel bad. (Not really).

Paid $3321 for the 16 piece red Pro 3.0 with Bamboo upgrade from Wayfair. After shipping issues and damage they credited me almost $1600. NOW NewAge is fully replacing two damaged Multi-Use lockers valued at roughly $500 each?

Does anyone know where I can order the casters for these units? I don't have time to build them like I saw someone else did.

I. Priced prices dropped a bit on the main newage site, I’ll be sending you a private message for a quote on an item

Note these are the Bold 3.0 series cabinets. They have an 18" deep worktop and 24" wide base cabinets. Built of 24 gauge sheet metal. Think of them as 7/8 scale Pro series cabinets.

Why is is that all I see for drawer base cabinets in the Bold 3.0 are the rolling cabinets that are only 21" wide? Your image appears to be 24" wide drawer bases??

NewAge was manufacturing "tool cabinets" in China and the manufacturer was charged with dumping "tool cabinets" on the American market.

NewAge has a new manufacturer and changed the fixed 24" wide tool cabinet into a 21" wide roll around tool cabinet. The design idea was make it easier to roll the cabinet in and out of the 24" width available under the worktop on Bold sets.

My plan was to wall mount everything approx 6" off the floor. I would need to remove the casters off the rolling cabinets. My space would allow for 3 wall cabinets 24" wide each, but if I mount the rolling cabinets that would leave some voids on the lower base cabinets as they would only be 20.75" wide each. Not happy about this new drawer setup

I just got some NewAge Pro cabinets. In the process of installing them now, very impressed with the quality. New Age customer service was great so far, as I have a out of alignment slider on 5 chest roller drawer. They are sending a new slider, though it looks like it is riveted in. If that does not resolve the issue, they are committed to getting it right. I also had one dent on tall side cabinet, but not enough for me to mess with. So far so good...

It would be great if you post up a couple pictures along with your installation progress.

Took advantage of a 0% offer on Overstock and grabbed a set of Pro cabinets on sale. I plan to wall mount 6" off the floor. Any tips for the install?

Today, September 15th, is the last day before NewAge raises prices. If you purchase NewAge cabinets tomorrow they will cost between 10 and 12 percent more than today. Any outstanding quotes will no longer be valid.

Dittle, have you seen the the "platinum" colors in person?

The other two colors give me a good idea of whats going on, however on the platinum in some pictures it looks like it could be an off white on the light portion or a stainless.

Do you have better pics than what new age has provided? Or can you describe the colors of the platinum?

Also, I assume the small personal locker is available to match whatever color one picks?

Thanks

Any chance I can buy one of the combo deals and get the storage lockers in a different color? Planning on putting the lockers in the garage, but the rest of it will be installed inside in my office.

You would have to purchase them separably. The sets come packed from the factory with smaller cabinets packed into the locker cabinets. Of coarse they are the same color. NewAge stocks individual cabinets to add on to sets.

There are larger sets with 3 or 4 lockers, but those all have smaller cabinets packed inside the lockers.

Why not let me know what you're looking for and I can quote you a price. No one purchases NewAge cabinets at full price. Don't worry about what is on sale for the month. I'll quote you a price that returns a 7% profit for me. The monthly sale prices return 9%. Sale prices on the Pro sets are 15% off retail. Bold set sale prices are 20% off retail.

Thanks for your support of small business.

I bought a set of New Age Cabinets from John back in early Spring and it was a very easy transaction. They arrived on pallets and were easy to unbox and even easier to install. There was a damaged door that New Age replaced almost immediately.

I will take pics soon and post them up but I wanted to share my experience as I first learned of New Age on this website as well as John being a resource to purchase from. He was incredibly helpful and quick to respond to all of my questions and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him or refer business to him in the future.

hope this helps!

Also, I have a set of NewAge Garage PRO 4-Inch Casters (Set of 4) for $25 shipped - I ordered them but they won't work for my oversized locker cabinet - PM for more info

I have no idea who you are, somehow there's no place for your Garage Journal name when placing an order. Anyway thanks again and please post pictures when you have a chance.

Thanks for supporting small business.

NewAge used to build performance and performance plus lines of cabinets.

They still have corner wall cabinets.

but no go on the regular flat wall cabinets?

That is correct. NewAge is selling the remaining stock of performance and performance plus cabinets on their website. Not much left. They are no longer manufacturing performance or performance plug cabinets.

Well, I am on my 3rd set of replacement doors in the 2 months that have elapsed since I purchased my cabinet. They promised me they would add some extra packaging this time to ensure they would arrive in one piece, but they did not. And surprise surprise, they showed up mangled again. I have little to no confidence I will receive a set of un-damaged doors. I’ve notified them again that I received more damaged doors, and asked for some alternative options. We’ll see what happens.

For anyone curious, after 4 sets of doors, and several months since ordering, I still do not have an un-damaged set. I am done asking for replacements. The definition of insanity is repeating the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. It's a shame, because this cabinet was not cheap and I am largely unsatisfied.

Just received my Platinum 304" set. The outer walls are a bright white color. The doors are closer to the "silver" that dittle posted than those color patches he showed as "platinum". Its a darker shade for sure.

Kind of an odd question but is there any flexibility on how the wood counter top is mounted to the base cabinets? I have gas line that would be behind where the lower cabinets sits but I dont want the countertop to not run back to the drywall (if that makes sense).

rdInJX2.jpg

Can you push the countertop further back so there is not cantilever at the front edge but rather that cantilever at the back edge?

Have you ever seen anyone use the pro wood top on the bold lowers to take advantage of the longer depth?

Last question, do you ship to Canada? It appears the project center is not available anywhere in Canada.

Thanks!

The countertop is 24" deep, the base cabinets are 22", and the locker cabinets are 24" deep. You can mount your base cabinets flush to fronts of the locker cabinets, giving you 2" of space behind the base cabinets.

Have you ever seen anyone use the pro wood top on the bold lowers to take advantage of the longer depth?

You could mount the 24" deep worktops on the 16" deep Bold cabinets, no problem. You would have to cut them to length. The worktops are meant to mount on two or three base cabinets. The Bold cabinets are 24" wide and the Pro cabinets are 28" wide.

Last question, do you ship to Canada? It appears the project center is not available anywhere in Canada.

We do not ship to Canada. Contact NewAge directly for distributors in Canada.

Yea those are the prices I've been watching closely.

They have the 6 piece set as buy one get one half off coming up at the end of the month as well. So 2 of these for $1800 which is a decent deal. I can't post the link (less than 5 posts lol) but its the $1199 6 piece set.

However I was hoping to make a slightly difference configuration. I'll post a sketch of it later in case anyone cares.

I think I'll be able to piece together most of kit from Costco and then order a couple single pieces directly from Newage I guess. But was hoping to grab a matching project center which doesn't appear to be available at all in Canada.

Dittle,

Are you anticipating any Black Friday deals this year? Hoping to place an order between now and New Years.

Anyone here ever used the tool trays and tools that Newage offers?

Are the "grey" cabinets black on the inside? Are the "platinum" cabinets white on the inside? Im thinking it might be able to see things on the inside of the cabinets if they are white instead of black. Anyone have any problems seeing things with a black interior?

Thanks!

More square inches of storage with this similar set for the same price and this one is at regular every day price.

That’s the setup I have bookmarked! It really is a great deal.

Plus a couple extra uppers and one more locker.

Sounds like you're way past due to file a complaint with your credit card company.

NewAge sent me the list of sale items for the month, but so far no additional discount for black friday. I participated in the promotion the last couple of years and lost money. There's an expected level of advertising that wasn't worth the effort.

I'm quoting an extra 2% off sale prices across the line, choose the one you want and send in a quote.

The tool sets aren't available to distributors. Some items are only available on the corporate site.

The cabinets are painted black inside and out with gray or red doors, and the platinum cabinets are white inside and out with platinum doors.

My cabinets are crammed full, couldn't tell you what color the back of the cabinet is.

If you can afford the Pro, they are significantly larger and better made. If you just need cabinets for light use, the Bold are OK. I have 29’ of Pro and 6.5’ of Bold, and definitely notice the difference in quality.

I was leaning towards the Pro line, but the measurements of the Bold line actually works better for the space I was planning to put them.

Diddle, I'm considering doing a wall mount of a run of Pro Series.

I'm tall, and want the finished worksurface 42" from the finished floor. I'm having insulation and drywall installed in the coming weeks, and need to put blocking in the walls to properly support all the weight.

I've read the installation instructions and understand about the wall mount clips, which are to be mounted to match the height of the top of cabinets when mounted. My question is around the distance from the top and bottom of the cabinets for the other reinforcing screws that are installed after the units are hung on the wall. That will be where I want the blocking.

Can you give me those dimensions, and perhaps post of picture of what this looks like from inside the cabinets?

Thank you!
