are you guys getting free shipping on orders?

I am seeing some crazy shipping charges on these deals.
most weren't eligible for free shipping but some still are. if you have a kmart close check the items out on their site--many are same price with free ship to store
but i had to adjust my cart several times because a .94 item would have a $6.25 shipping charge. put an olympia hobby knife kit in and they wanted to charge $20.25 for shipping :lol_hitti F U

EDIT: same deal for kmart--blowout sale tons of stuff not available on sears

If you don't have a local store to get free pickup at, you can either use the SYW "Personal Shopper" smartphone app or ask Sears chat for free shipping.

Does anyone know if these incredible prices are coming up in store?

With the website and the App down plus most stuff sold out according to online inventory, the best chance is now to go in stores and see what is still physically on the shelves.

I got a couple of the $9.** offset wrenches and the last 2 Nextec batteries in my area for $12.** before everything went down.

Website is working fine and most stuff I've looked at is still available in my store, FWIW. These sale items are NOT tagged with the "online only" price indicator, so theoretically they should either already be the same price in-store or the store should be willing to match the website's price. If you do go look in-store, take a few things you know should be on sale to a price scanner if you don't see updated pricetags on them - many stores these days can't keep up with changing out the physical pricetags consistently but they might still be on sale there. (Update: the in-store sale starts this Sunday.)

Most of the links above are just directing me to the Sears homepage, not tech enough to know if that is just me, maybe that is what Timoboy is referencing.

I'm going to pick up my order on the way home, and I'll try to price-check some items. Though, the email states:

"Online ends 10/5/19. In store valid 9/15-10/5/19."

Compared to last night, a lot of items no longer show available at the local store.

That's why I always try to put the item name in my post, so there's always the option for you all to search for the item. ;)

Aha, so it really does run through Oct 5 like I saw last night, as long as your local store doesn't get hit too hard and run out of everything. :) Amazing. But it sounds like don't bother trying to buy in-person till this Sunday.

Check if you're opted out of Viglink redirects - it often breaks Sears links just like that, sending you to the homepage. Even if you've done it in the past, you'll have to opt out again if you've ever cleared your browser cookies since then.

Are there currently any points back promos for tools other than the spend $100 get $15 back?

Can coupons still be had on the SYW Slickdeals trading thread or anywhere else?

Scanned a couple items at the store, and none of them had the Blowout sale price.

When I asked the tool associate about price-matching to the Sears website, he said the Blowout prices will be available in-store on Sunday. He was busy helping someone with a warranty issue, so you might have better luck price-matching with a bored associate.

Discount coupons don't work on 'Hot Buy' items, but there are promo codes such as SAVE5OFF50.

Also, RetailMeNot has a nice $5 off $35 coupon for tools.

I don't see any additional Sears cashback in points offers right now.

Install, log in, and scroll down in the Sears app to find a $5 for $15 purchase freecash offer.

The RMN $5 off $35 wouldn't work for me. I assumed it was because all my items were part of the "blowout" sale. Picked up some awesome deals, thanks all who posted!

Craftsman wrench rolls are $3. The previous design was my favorite out of all the brands I've tried, these look pretty similar.

Ohh... one more thing in the would be nice to have category. I could use this to store my wrenches when we are on long trips. I currently just rubber band them together so they do not rattle around, and put them into the small tool box in the trunk.

Whew... trying hard not to spend too much money but have to admit these deals are pretty great.

just bought my 3rd, with the last 2 as gifts. theyre pretty good in a trunk set in case of emergencies. double up the wrenches on one end and put screw drivers in the middle and a few pliers on the other end (can only fit one handle per pocket) and itll all still roll up and velcro shut (and still fit in one of the CM/permanex 22" boxes)

im glad i ordered wednesday night...cant find any of the good stuff with free ship to store now.

By the time Sunday rolls around, the store tool dept will have a lot of empty hooks and shelves. I wonder if they will even bother to have an employee go around and put up Blowout sale price tags.

Anyone try the Bond (Stanley) lawn tools?

The current sale prices might fit better with the quality.

Thanks for the heads up, hopefully some of these prices populate in stores then. My stores won't match any online. I have a sears that is closing soon and does a terrible job of shelves matching online so I know I can grab some "out of stock" stuff there if the prices come up.

Most of this stuff that was linked directly to slickdeals is sold out in store already. Only stuff that isn’t in a lot of stores is still available. Some of this stuff they don’t keep massive quantities of in store to begin with. Some of these wrench sets and stuff they might have 12 at a given time.

In the points thread, tabs showed us a 'Hot Buy' exclusion in his freecash offer:

https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showpost.php?p=8077066&postcount=5704

I've never seen this (don't have freecash currently), but I can now understand why some members have trouble applying their freecash offer on 'Hot Buy' items. Read those offer exclusions.

I think sometimes the stated exclusions are wrong (and sometimes differ depending on where you look at them), so the best way for people to be sure about their particular offers is testing in the cart with an appropriate dollar amount of products in it. :) It will clearly show at the bottom of the cart page, before going into the checkout process at all, if you have freecash offers that will apply.

Thanks for the heads-up, I've been gradually collecting those and didn't have that variety on my list.

You’re most welcome. I’ve also been collecting the series of Craftsman scrapers, etc. I’m putting together sets for myself and my sons-in-law.

I think they’re very high quality. Originally they were all USA made by Titan Tools. I’m not sure whether they’re still USA, but all the ones I’ve purchased so far have been including the 1 1/2 inch chisel scrapers I got earlier this year.

welp....ordered another $80. shipping was going to be $30 on a $72 order but after asking a few times chat came through with free shipping. you just have to tell them no a few times when they say they'll refund shipping after you pay for it up front.

ended up with 6 of the folding utility knives
3 sets of 10pc screwdrivers
5 offset ratcheting screwdrivers
2 socket sets
and so many odds and ends, with nothing being over $11.94. im making house warming tool sets for two people and at these prices how could i say no?

even with not being able to use freecash the second time, nor getting any cash back, the free shipping made up for it. overall im very happy with how this turned out. i hope some of the GJ'ers were able to get in a little early on the sale since we knew about it before it went up on SD.

anyone else want to share their good hauls?

I have ordered several things. This is the first I have ordered in a couple of months.
Impact drivers made by Vessel
6-in-1 LED screwdriver
Offset DBE wrenches
Mini plier sets 5pc. and 3pc. These are better than the SBD ones Lowes is selling.
10 pc. diamond tip screwdrivers
13 pc. extreme grip driver
2 of the dry wall knives
25' sidewinder tape measure

I would have ordered more, but this is all I could get for store pickup.

The points I won on Wednesday combined with a $5 freecash offer made that first night my best haul. I managed to stay focused on things I need, rather than buying more spares.

Now, I'm cleaning up the garage and identifying worn items that will soon need replacement or repair. So I'll have another list ready soon.

Not tools, but I haven't see these posted on SD yet. More for the folks with a Sears store nearby.

Ematic EMW5105 Low Profile Universal Wall Mount for 23" to 65” TVs $5.94

Ematic EMW3401 Full Motion Universal Wall Mount for 10" to 49" TVs w/ Tilt and Swivel Articulating Arm $8.94

That Framing Hammer is good, they had them on clearance at our store two years ago and I got one around the same price. I like how it is weighted.

Yeah, definitely looks like that is the last lingering dregs of the clearance, not restocked in 2 years; the only store that comes up for that hammer in the 100mi radius for me is a Hometown store 97mi away. Anybody who doesn't have a convenient Hometown that still has one gathering dust will probably have to take the shipping option, which I expect will be shipped from one of the few stores that still has one left.

I got my order in...

Being shipped to store, might take weeks, hope they actually come through promptly:
- $2.94 sale, $11.99 regularly https://www.sears.com/craftsman-evolv-8-in-adjustable-wrench/p-00910069000P
- $3.94 sale, $13.29 regularly https://www.sears.com/craftsman-evolv-10-in-adjustable-wrench/p-00910065000P

Available both locally and shippable, might not be a high likelihood to sell out but I didn't want to risk waiting later in the sale on it, I've been wanting one if it ever went on sale for a good price (more than 10% off), and this is the first time it has:
- $10.94 sale, $29.99 regularly https://www.sears.com/bond-manufacturing-co-bds6312np-telescopic-anvil-lopp/p-A026734417

This one is down to local stock only:
- $1.94 sale, $6.99 regularly https://www.sears.com/craftsman-3-in-flex-stainless-scraper/p-00994817000P

All together, that is $62.26 of stuff for $19.76, 68% off. (And then I had points.) Now hoping I can save up for a few more things before they run out.

 I'm sure they'll be grateful to have you in their lives. I think the only tools my relatives have ever given me were a basic no-name car-trunk toolkit, a few nasty corroded screwdrivers with disintegrating handles (long gone now), and a tape measure with a broken recoil mechanism. I declined the offer of a filthy beat-up $3-quality caulk gun.

The Blowout event is live at the Sears store. People are snatching up stuff pretty fast, and a senior associate said not to expect these items to be restocked.

EDIT: YMMV, but the register spit out a $5 off $15, valid tomorrow (when everything is out of stock).

I can't find General Tools on the Sears website, but they are part of this event. Though, they're Made in India.

6" steel rule $2.94
