this just dropped $20 since last night. it has good reviews on other sites

General International Universal Miter Saw Stand $87.96

same price as HD and other places, but it works with FREECASH and i had $15/80 to use on it. after the 10 days of $10s i was able to get it for $1.39 shipped to me. love it :)
this is now down to $79.16, $8.50 less than HD, plus any freecash that works on it. i think mine is pretty decent quality, esp for price. if anyone is looking for a miter stand, act now

Sears and Kmart Black Friday ads have been posted. And they decided to announce this via a bombardment of texts + app notifications + emails, falsely calling it a "leak" that "they" might take down, as if it didn't come straight from the company itself.

Sears https://s7.sears.com/is/content/Sea...19/BlackFriday/Sears_Black_Friday_Leak_V2.pdf

Kmart https://s7.sears.com/is/content/Sea...iday/Ad Leak/1128_KMART_CASHBACK.wo crops.pdf

SD hasn't found anything exciting price-wise in them. Some people think this is just a portion of the Sears ad and not the whole ad, but I'm thinking this is the whole ad... reasons:
a) the Kmart ad is twice as long, so they obviously weren't holding back anything on that one
b) it says at the top of the last page that there will be "100s more [deals] in-store and at Sears.com", so they're just telling people to go wander around if they want to know all the sales
c) fewer pages for them to spend money printing to have on tables in the stores this way (the only place their ads appear anymore other than online)
d) their ad-design department has been really struggling for a while (cut to a skeleton crew when they stopped putting the ads in newspapers a couple years ago, I imagine) - they were making all sorts of dumb mistakes till they stopped trying to put out print-style ads online as often as they used to
e) there are hardly any products left that they can count on still having in stock at all stores - the few tools in the ad may be the only ones they know they have nationwide restocks on the way for

But the big deal is, from Nov 24 through Dec 1 (i.e. not yet), you will be able to "Text THANKS 73277 to receive a $10 Coupon to redeem on a qualifying purchase of $10 or more at Sears stores." I expect that, like the last several times they've done similar coupons, this will be restricted to one usage per SYW account (and requiring use of your account to redeem it), and probably for in-store use only.

Ugh. Item I was thinking about getting tomorrow is now only 3.5% off the prior blowout price instead of 10%.

I guess I'll take the 3% over nothing! I had a $10 off $30 coupon to use so I bought some of the 25" prybars that could be picked up at my nearest Kmart (rarity on the fact it is free pickup AND it is a Kmart). Hopefully the order goes through since the website has been extremely glitchy lately.

heres a few i dont recall seeing. though with their **.55 pricing they might drop down to a **.94 at some point

Craftsman Three-in-One Multi-Blade Hand Saw $6.25

Craftsman Flex Shaft for Rotary Tool $7.15

Craftsman Pin End Scroll Saw Blade Assortment Pack $3.55

Craftsman 5 pack 7-1/4 in. Steel Saw Blades -- 40T, (2)26T, 60T, 140T $13.45

DeWalt 122-Piece Drill/Drive Set $21.55. no idea if this is a deal or not

These are the after-10%-off prices. $7.15 item would've been $7.94 last week, etc. :)

The DeWalt set is the only new one for me, but it's showing in stock only at Sears Hometown stores around here. No ship-to-store option for the regular Sears stores.

Anyone here use the Craftsman Flex Shaft for Rotary Tool? It was in stock at the local store about two weeks ago, but I didn't buy it after looking at the customer reviews.

Not a deal, but possible new Craftsman tools.

Some of the photos seem amateurish, so I thought these boxes were NOS. However, the manuals state "Transform SR Brands Management LLC".

Nice to see a few signs of revival, at least. :) The 'old' image wasn't loading for me from your i.sears.com URL for it, but it works now that I've replaced the domain with c.shld.net like the other one. :dunno:

Looks like they have 3 types of locking pliers in the new style so far.
https://www.sears.com/tools-hand-to...Locking&filterList=Pliers Style&searsTab=true

I got the whole set back in 2017-2018, there were 6 different ones at that time. I see they've gone back to the old-fashioned release lever on the new ones; the ones I got had a hidden release mechanism that I preferred. (As one of the reviews on the discontinued pliers said, "Bought these over the more common name brand because I was tired of my knuckles getting banged up. I like the release on these pliers a lot better, and so do my knuckles.")

Man, just noticed some of the remaining items on my blowout wish list are actually now HIGHER priced than they were before F&F started! :headshake

Here's another tool I think might be new - the product page claims it's been around since 2010, but I'm pretty sure I've never seen it before, and there are no reviews. I know they get those dates wrong sometimes when they copy and paste from another product description to use as a template, and I'm sure they weren't using that style C-logo on products back then. Says it's in stock at my local mall store, and available for shipping to home.

I was looking for that attachment, and got excited seeing the link. But it doesn't look like it is for a rotary tool, if the picture is correct. Looks like it has a 1/4" hex connection.

Can anyone confirm if this goes on the end of a Dremel, or is just a 1/4" flex adapter

I have been baffled by that product for a while. The description talks about using it for drilling and driving. Maybe the title was written by someone who didn't know that not all tools that rotate are rotary tools, lol. https://www.sears.com/craftsman-9-in-flex-shaft/p-00926270000P

They also have a 1/4" SOCKET flex extension: https://www.sears.com/craftsman-flex-extension-bar-1-4-in-drive/p-00904336000P

I got an email earlier today with a promo that gave me a $5 off $5+.

I decided to use it on a second set of clamps, $5.35 sale currently (they're one of the few items on my list that's actually still 10% lower than their prior blowout price of $5.94), $11.99 regularly. I got a set of these a few years ago and it includes some unusual sizes that I haven't seen elsewhere, but only 2 of each of those, so I thought a second pair of each could come in handy.

Ol sears got me for $5. I ordered the socket adapters so you could use a wrench on a socket. They sent me some clips for a socket rail, NOT what I ordered.

Chatted with them and they said no worries. They wanted to give me a refund and place another order, ok, fine.

Been watching my credit card and I got a refund but short $5... Chatted with them and you probably guessed it, they refunded the $5 in points and it was one of those promotional $5 over $50 or whatever.... Ill never see those $5 in points... They know what theyre doing.

Ugh, that *****. In hindsight, it probably would've been better to have the original chat rep send you the correct item for free (they have done this for me a couple times in the past when I either received the wrong item or a damaged item). I try to avoid dealing with Sears refunds (except for price protection) as much as possible since their transactions are so convoluted and often not reproducible.

damn....still no $5/5 for me :(

but it looks like dickies has many of their items available in black now, normally just tan/white. the quality of my wrench roll is pretty good IMO

Not just added another color... I see a lot of items that became unavailable via Sears ages ago that have returned, or had never-that-I'd-seen been available via Sears before. If they stick around long enough, that will help replenish my dwindling wish list! Unfortunately it looks like quite a few of them will not ship to my store, so will require going through chat/PS.

There has been a surprising amount of interest/discussion on SD in the past couple days about some ping-pong tables Sears is selling (actual Sears, not third-party sellers, and apparently these are Sears-exclusive models). I'm not interested in ping-pong tables, but I decided to take a quick look at the thread to see why it had so many posts, and the part I found interesting is that a couple hours ago, some guy replied to say:

"I didn't know a lot of people were interested in these. the reason for this statement, is that I work [at] a [Sears] warehouse and we have a lot of them."

So I guess they've been clearing out our tools to make room for more ping-pong tables? :lol_hitti

And this morning now that the supposedly extra sale ended, the clamp set is at a new low of $4.94! :eek2: (Or maybe it had already been down to $4.94 last week, now I'm not sure.) I haven't picked up the order yet, will have to try for price protection once I do later today.

Just fyi. I have been watching various fishing rods and reels since it is getting hard to find any tools that I need. Just one more way to spent my points. A little discount is better than paying full price right?

Today, my wife's account have points expiring and she has that $5 cashback. Of course someone at Sears knows this... because pretty much all of the rods and reels are gone from the website. As of yesterday, they were all still there. I was swamped at work and did not manage to put in my order with my PS.

I wonder if their supplier stop supplying to Sears...

I'm guessing those were Sears Authorized Supplier items, that were never in any of the physical stores? Those have definitely been 'touchier' since the bankruptcy. When an SAS company decides they're tired of how much money Sears owes them, they can pull their products immediately until they get paid. While with the non-SAS products, Sears still has some in their own warehouses and some stores that run out at different rates when they stop being able to get more of it.

I posted last week about a meter magnetic holder for $4.94.

At the start of the F&F event, I saw it drop to $4.45 (10% off).

Before the end of F&F, the online price went up to $5.35.

And finally after F&F, it's back down to $4.94.

I do not know, but you probably correct that those were never in any physical stores. I bought a Daiwa spinning reel ~1 month ago (using points and OOP), and I think it was Sears Authorized Supplier item.

With Thanksgiving - Christmas - New year coming up soon, I had my eyes on some of them. Thinking that if I have some cashback + points (and maybe pricematch), that would add up to be a pretty good discount. I guess now I have to look elsewhere.

Nice find. It's become a chore finding something to spend points before they expire.

EDIT: I noticed that Sears is selling the WORKPRO brand of tools on their site, so that led me to this Penlaser manual (similar format to the Craftsman manual).

The WORKPRO manual mentions Prexiso, so that led me to the item on Amazon. $15.99, but with a case and bonus laser pointer.

The one on Amazon says +/- 1/8" in the description and +/- 1/4" in one of the photos

Yeah, it's definitely not the greatest deal at OOP, but those getting more cashback points than they know what to do with should consider it. :)

It really is a chore. I have added so many extras to my shop in the last few years. I suppose I am "lucky" to have a Kmart near me to spend my points on household goods and work clothes.

Wish I would have traveled south two weeks ago when they had the $10. We stopped at the Kmart in Saginaw, but was closing. $10 free cash didn't apply, so walked out.

Was that the Sears in Saginaw or Kmart in Midland? I was told the Sears closed ahead of schedule (11/10 was the original date). From what I was told, December 15th is that tentative final day for the Kmart in Midland. What I find odd is that each time I have shopped at my Sears in Portage (closes this Sunday) I get a coupon for $10 off $30 good online at either store.

They seem to be more generous with those 'move the customers online' closing-store coupons at some closing stores than others! I made a couple purchases at my former second-closest store during its liquidation period in early 2019, and never got any coupons like that. :dunno:

Kmart in Midland. I haven't even been to the Sears in Grandville in almost a month. Slim pickings

Went to my local Kmart to pick up an online order for PurinaOne canned dog food
(62% off $1.89 to .71)

I saw they rearranged some departments. Cut the remaining sporting goods down and increased men’s clothing.

The usual aisle in the auto/tools/homeowner that had boxes and shelves full of windshield snow brushes for the spring and summer has been replaced by an aisle full of swimming pool maintenance products. I think full price. Hoping this is an aisle they don’t have to stock all winter?

I did see Some items on sale. Outdoor thermometers, etc.

It has been a couple months since I have been to the Kmart in Midland. With the exception of the back corner of the store (I think it was a former auto-center turned into sales floor space), I always felt like that store was well stocked and organized. Sad to see it go. The last time I was in the Grandville store was early August it was still well stocked and busy with people actually buying items on both floor; it is the only two-story Sears left in Michigan. If you get the chance to shoot down to Lansing, the Sears there is till quite vibrant as it is the anchor to the shopping center since it moved there in the early 50s.

They definitely are! I was just there today to see what is left and no coupon for me. If one needs an electric dryer, there were a few of the higher end Kenmore and LG models in the $4-500; I could have had the matching one to my front load washer I bought last black Friday for just under $4 bills but I have no free spaces in my circuit box.
They officially closed off the second floor now since this Sunday is the last day; sad to see the store go but my wallet will be happy. There are still a decent amount of screwdrivers and the blue painted sockets that were part of the back room's tool sets. If they are still there Sunday I just may offer them a bulk purchase deal since the majority of the sockets are older, USA made variants.

I noticed some weird games going on pricing wise in the last week, varying wildly at the store level vs online. Many items that still are in significant quantities have been pulled from the website allowing stores to basically set the price at whatever they want.

For example the SAE Evolv deep impacts seem to be gone from the website, I think they were down under $9 for awhile if you could get a hold of them. The stores that still have them are pricing them in the $39.99 range!

https://www.sears.com/craftsman-evolv-10-pc-deep-impact-socket/p-00916886000P?rrec=true

The metric set is listed on the website at $22.99. Tonight in the Chula Vista store of all places they were ringing up $11.94, which is a steal. They had a bunch. Ended up with 2 sets for $0 OOP after points. Definitely check out your in-store vs online prices. If you recall what was priced low online during the height of the blowout sale on a couple of the restocked items they may still be coming up that price.

https://www.sears.com/craftsman-evolv-10-pc-deep-impact-sockets/p-00916887000P?plpSellerId=Sears&prdNo=2&blockNo=2&blockType=G2

I noticed a banner in the app that said 10% off purchases, it was applied to the items in my cart.

Cool. Apparently that runs through 11/16. Is it being applied in a way that prevents other freecash or coupons from being used at the same time as it?

I noticed some weird games going on pricing wise in the last week, varying wildly at the store level vs online. Many items that still are in significant quantities have been pulled from the website allowing stores to basically set the price at whatever they want.

For example the SAE Evolv deep impacts seem to be gone from the website, I think they were down under $9 for awhile if you could get a hold of them. The stores that still have them are pricing them in the $39.99 range!

I saw a banner ad for the $9.99 SAE deep sockets. It's a total tease. I clicked on it only to get "temporarily unavailable." That's not okay.

I believe that the Craftsman Evolv was the discount brand started in the 1990s at Sears with limited warranty and Made in Taiwan vs the US-made regulard Craftsman.

Oh, and I have two sets Evolv 1/2" metric impact sockets on rails in hand from the early 2000s made in Taiwan and they're still going strong, albeit having some easily removed surface rust. That said, I'm looking at the packaging: it says "limited lifetime warranty" and you need the original purchase receipt to warranty it. I checked your link and Sears says nothing about that nowadays. Anyone know for sure?
