Crazy day in the office, so I did not play all games but I got the same 15 cents.
I wonder if there is a way for them to see lifetime expired points, and ask if we can have them back
I may have a pretty good amount. Most of the time, if I am not able to get to $10, and did not really want to spent OOP if there is nothing that I need, I just let them expire. 10 cents here, 20 cents there... I am sure it adds up...
*Somebody* knows, but they sure won't restore them for you anymore.Even just asking for what's expired within the past week or month will get you a "not if you've ever had points restored before, and never again for the rest of your life" customer-hostile spiel since the crackdown a few months ago.

I don't actually know for a fact, but glad you asked this as I forgot to think of that when I was talking with some people about ordering on Monday.
Yet based on previous experience with my PS, it does seem like they tend to take off every single holiday, so I'd give it like a 90% chance that they won't be there unfortunately.....
I guess if you don't mind dealing with some drama, you can do like I did before and @Hexen also, convince Chat to do the order as if they were your PS, so you don't lose the FC. It's a lot more effort but does work.

Just FYI, I tried this a few weeks ago since I got nothing to do at night. Chat did not want to do this. I end up ordering via PS the next day. So if that does not work, you may want to hang-up and chat with different person.

I don't know how many here ever do much online shopping at Walmart but SYW still has a 3% back in Points for Walmart.com for practically any purchase for store pickup or delivery.

That's actually pretty decent because many cashback sites seem to break Walmart up different percentages for clothing, tools, electronics, etc vs SYW who just seems to go "Buy whatever you want, get 3% back."
The only bummer (but actually shorter than most cashback sites also) is you typically don't see the points until 10 days later and valid for 14 days.
Even if you get an 'answer', you probably can't trust it. They seem to have no idea how their system works most of the time. If I were you, I'd assume you will only receive the larger of the two offers when making your purchase decisions, and maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised by the second offer working too.

You must now always do OOP extra before any FS, that even if you had $200 in points, that is not enough for FS, unless you spend $35+ OOP.
Well I guess I more than likely will convert my card to TY Points. I got pretty much every tool I could ever want & not sure it makes OOP sense to buy household necessities at higher prices & shipping when I can just get locally.
That's a bummer. I still have $30 in points to spend. Maybe they will let me make one more order...

Next day I was randomly reassigned to a new PS and I’ve now done 2 free shipping orders with the new PS, one for no OOP. The second order was yesterday with only $3 OOP on an order of around $16 before points and freecash.

Well, I guess they're determined to lose the business of everyone who just found out their stores are closing and had been told PS/chat was the way to still be able to buy from Sears/Kmart.Great timing.


I know for someone like me in Westcentral PA, it's like they barely want us as shoppers at all.
It seems like they constantly keep closing local stores in my state and the website literally tells me if I want KMart, I must travel to Maryland now.....
That doesn't look like a good sign when a store tells you to travel to a different state to shop with them.....
I was shopping online and using points & FREECASH and then just paying OOP extra, then they tell people you must pay $59 or now $35 OOP or pay shipping every time.
Then they at least said a PS will waive shipping so that kept me for about 8 months.
Now with that stopped, I don't really see the points of myself or any shopper in my area shopping with them at all.

Yep that is what happening with me now. Bought a combo fishing rod and reel. The rod arrived last Saturday (without the reel). I am trying to deal with this new PS who does not seems to be interested dealing with my problem.
Price was good (not great) because I used some points, but the headache that I am now dealing with is starting to make this deal not worth it. If I ordered from Amazon, this would have been fixed already. A short call, and I am done vs messaging PS who is not responsive at all...
And they want to charge $100 to be some sort of exclusive member for this kinda of service...

Finally got my 94 cents from the card and talked to Chat.
I explained myself real quick and agent said the "I'll do the order this time but normally we don't do this" and put my order in and got rid of all points except 60 cents, but I consider that I used all my credit card points up and that I'm just losing a tiny bit of sweeps.
Like I said, I would have just left the points and figure oh well, but spending like $450 or so on my credit card, made me not want to lose at least those points.

2 days in a row with no wins. This has never happened to me before.
As long as the order is connected to your own Sears/SYW account and not the weird PS bulk account they used to use when you have OOP, you can try using the regular Sears chat to get it resolved probably-easier. At least chat is available about twice as many hours a day and you're not tied to waiting for one particular person to be available to answer you.
hmm.. I did pay OOP and looking at my order history, it shows Billing Address: Shop Your Way Personal Shopper. Is this what you mean by "PS bulk account"?
I'll give PS a chance to make this right tomorrow, but then will try to resolve with chat.

Sadly I have ~$5 in both mine and my wife account that is going to go to waste.
I wonder if they going to start letting go PS. I can not imagine there are a lot of business going thru PS. One might as well order straight from the website right?
