Crazy day in the office, so I did not play all games but I got the same 15 cents.

I wonder if there is a way for them to see lifetime expired points, and ask if we can have them back :headscrat

I may have a pretty good amount. Most of the time, if I am not able to get to $10, and did not really want to spent OOP if there is nothing that I need, I just let them expire. 10 cents here, 20 cents there... I am sure it adds up...

Right right totally agree @Hexen.

Business should slows down as we are nearing the end of the year so I may try anyway when I get bored at work one of these days. Just can not resist the free entertainment trying to argue (politely) with them :lol_hitti

I can see why they wont do that, because if they do, I would have let all of my points expire, and cash-in for a big discount on one of those expensive fridge at the end of the year!

I don't actually know for a fact, but glad you asked this as I forgot to think of that when I was talking with some people about ordering on Monday.

Yet based on previous experience with my PS, it does seem like they tend to take off every single holiday, so I'd give it like a 90% chance that they won't be there unfortunately.....

I guess if you don't mind dealing with some drama, you can do like I did before and @Hexen also, convince Chat to do the order as if they were your PS, so you don't lose the FC. It's a lot more effort but does work.

Just FYI, I tried this a few weeks ago since I got nothing to do at night. Chat did not want to do this. I end up ordering via PS the next day. So if that does not work, you may want to hang-up and chat with different person.

Yeah, it is definitely more hit-and-miss with chat. They are mostly willing to waive shipping, but less willing than PS to combine that with using your FC. They can do it, but you have to catch the right one in the right mood.

I guess Citi must have hired the SYW Team to manage their card.....:headscrat

I sent an online message on Thur, asking if they can verify if I spent enough in Oct for the first promo. They don’t explain in the email exactly how they calculate it, so it’s more of a 50-50 chance that I made it.

All I keep getting notified is that Citi keeps forwarding my message to other departments....:lol_hitti It has been forwarded 3 times now......:headscrat

I wouldn't even bother contacting them and just let the chips fall where they may as they say, but I didn't think I'd get the signup Bonus as I thought I missed it by just a little bit too little spending, but did after I checked with CS.

Also some credit card junkies said it's best to keep an eye on it and possibly contact as sometimes cards don't auto give valid Bonuses even though you did everything you were told to do and CS has to manually add it.

I don't know how many here ever do much online shopping at Walmart but SYW still has a 3% back in Points for Walmart.com for practically any purchase for store pickup or delivery.

Even if you get an 'answer', you probably can't trust it. They seem to have no idea how their system works most of the time. If I were you, I'd assume you will only receive the larger of the two offers when making your purchase decisions, and maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised by the second offer working too.

You are definitely right. They have everything a giant mess.

A phone agent & online agent said my Oct purchases all count towards the promo even though I activated in Nov as they didn't tell me until 10/25 of the promo.

Now another agent is telling me that Oct purchases don't count at all and it's only Nov onward.

They make my head spin just like contacting SYW for anything does.......:lol_hitti

EDIT: Now it seems like my 94 cents from Thur are not going to add possibly and I will have to try and get some more points from Sweeps for my order tomorrow.

I like how Citi does a great job with their private card but they seem to do a bad job with this one.....

Well the FS fun is over with a PS!

I was just told that the FS for $10+ orders has been taken away yesterday.

You must now always do OOP extra before any FS, that even if you had $200 in points, that is not enough for FS, unless you spend $35+ OOP. :(

Well I guess I more than likely will convert my card to TY Points. I got pretty much every tool I could ever want & not sure it makes OOP sense to buy household necessities at higher prices & shipping when I can just get locally.

I doubt a PS will. Mine claims she has no power to make even a one-time exception.

Chat told me though that they will make a one-time exception but I have to pick different items because they can't apply points to any Grocery item like the PS can.

I am just waiting a few hours until $0.94 comes in from my card then I can get my items and not lose like $12.50.

I debated not caring, but I did spend hundreds on the card to get half of those points.......

It seems like they constantly keep closing local stores in my state and the website literally tells me if I want KMart, I must travel to Maryland now.....:headscrat

And meanwhile, Amazon recently did away with their 'add-on' item status, meaning the whopping half of the country who has a Prime membership in the house can now order things for as little as ~$1 and get free shipping from Amazon. (Used to be that 'add-on items' could only be ordered in a $35+, and then $25+, order.) Sears is going in the opposite direction, and a whole lot of people have an easy alternative.

Oh, AND if anyone who had been relying on PS free shipping still wants to mess with ordering from Sears/Kmart, there's not a whole lot of reason to spend time on messing with the PS app-only communication during limited hours anymore. Use chat if you need a price-match, or place the order yourself if you don't.

People are saying this change only kicked in this morning, Tue Nov 12, 2019. Yesterday everything was normal, and then today, wham with no warning.

Yep that is what happening with me now. Bought a combo fishing rod and reel. The rod arrived last Saturday (without the reel). I am trying to deal with this new PS who does not seems to be interested dealing with my problem.

Price was good (not great) because I used some points, but the headache that I am now dealing with is starting to make this deal not worth it. If I ordered from Amazon, this would have been fixed already. A short call, and I am done vs messaging PS who is not responsive at all...

And they want to charge $100 to be some sort of exclusive member for this kinda of service...

As long as the order is connected to your own Sears/SYW account and not the weird PS bulk account they used to use when you have OOP, you can try using the regular Sears chat to get it resolved probably-easier. At least chat is available about twice as many hours a day and you're not tied to waiting for one particular person to be available to answer you.

7pm bonus game seems to be borked, never showed up. Multiple complaints on SD so I know it's not just me. Tried restarting the app, still nothing.

Then you were probably due! I know I’ve had that happen and have seen others say the same. My guess is if keep playing your odds are going to get better soon. Those of us who no longer have a Sears store nearby and have now apparently lost the ability to get free shipping with points orders are likely to stop playing.

No, if it shows in your account's order history at all, it should be fine. This was something I only heard about from RedPenguin (IIRC) in the first few months of the PS program, it made the orders invisible to you without looking it up by the order number (there is/was some obscure webpage in the Sears site to do that).

Crazy winning streak on WL/tiny bonus/WWWed early this morning! I spent about 30 minutes playing all the games except the regular Xtra ones, and won 28 times in a row!! :wtf: (All 10 WL + 1 tiny bonus + 16 base WWWed + 1 social WWWed... then my luck ran out and lost the remaining 3 WWWed spins. Most were nickels, and a few dimes. No $20, darn.) I guess I finally caught it after some downtime. The abrupt loss of free shipping probably got quite a few players to quit too.


I only won $0.10 total on Tue, though.

Sweeps has been sluggish all day. Now it's completely down: yellow-box "ShopYourWay will be back online soon." error page on the website, and teal "Xtra promotions are now available on the Win It! app" idiotic error page on the Win It app. :rolleyes:

Came back up by the time I finished composing this message, though... in time to play the 4-5pm game, but no such luck on downtime backlog wins this time.

My PS told me that the free shipping is over. Since all of the local sears stores are closed near me, I think that I might be done. There is an Outlet store near me. I asked if I could order through the PS and pickup in the Outlet. She said maybe.
