That is exactly what I need - thank you.

I've seen the videos, which are really well done.

Looking forward to getting this done!

Do the Bold 3.0 rolling tool cabinets that are now slightly smaller then the prior ones (20.75”w x 16”d x 28”h) have any mounting provisions on the back and side like the other cabinets do so they can be mounted against a wall and too each other? Also do they have mounting holes through the top to secure the bamboo work surface to if doing so? Not a fan of them changing from the standard size to these...

They have the 6 piece set as buy one get one half off coming up at the end of the month as well. So 2 of these for $1800 which is a decent deal. I can't post the link (less than 5 posts lol) but its the $1199 6 piece set.

The 6 piece set is reduced as you referred to but the 8 piece set is also $300 off only until Dec 2. I think this is the deal I have been waiting for. Just need to decide on colour.

RED

Diddle, it looks like the engineering drawing you posted for me may be for the 80" tall storage and upper cabinets only, but not the base cabinet.

Are those dimensions any different? In looking through pictures in this thread, the holes in the back appear higher than the 2ish inches shown on the drawing, and it also doesn't show the base cabinet's 32.5" overall height.

I want to be sure I don't put blocking in the wrong place.

Thanks again.

I like the gray fronts. Sides are black regardless of front color. I have 29’ of Pro and 6’ of Bold.

You don't need to install blocking behind your cabinets unless there are no studs. If you mount your cabinets with lag bolts into the wall studs at the top and bottom of each cabinet, even if you only have one stud available, and bolt the cabinets to each other. You will have meet the requirements to achieve the full listed capacity.

This is what I have and yes it does show the base cabinets as being 30" tall. They are actually 32-1/4" tall.

I think you might be stressing a little too much.:beer::beer:

Ordered a set of pro cabinets and they showed up today. Unfortunately I dont yet have a way to unload them from the Pallet. Everything is inside of two storage cabinets, both with their doors facing inward :headscrat . Not sure how to unload a 500lb cabinet from double stacked pallets without damaging it or myself.

This is why they make children, or as I like to call them helpers.:beer:

There are video's on how to unload your cabinets.

Yeah i dont see kids being a help here. The videos dont help either because they show the contents of the storage lockers being unloaded before the locker is removed. I cant access the doors to my lockers because they are both facing to the inside on the pallet. I called newage and they were a bit shocked but recommended getting 3 or 4 people and tipping one of the lockers over on its back. It weighs about 500lbs with everything in it.

I'm sorry your cabinets came front to front. Even with two extra full size helpers it's going to be a chore to spin these around. Where do you live? I'll come by to help. Please have beer and pizza available.

No worries, it is what it is. I dont really see a good way to flip one around on the pallet without it possible falling off. Newage said that tipping it over fully loaded is the best option and to have 3-4 people to do so. Ill report back on how that goes lol.

Had a buddy come over and we were able to tip the cabinet over on its back and get it off the pallet so that it could be unloaded. It was definitely heavy but we laid it down on a bunch of styrofoam without damage.

I've had a couple of customers ask about mounting the rolling cabinets directly to the wall. As you can see in this photo, From a "double" to a DOUBLE thread, you end up with some extra space because the cabinets are smaller than the fixed cabinets.

Still looks cool! :beer::beer:

Just unboxed and set into place my 16 piece Pro system. Quality seems pretty good. Any experience with the SST counters getting dented easily? Material seems pretty thin.

Now would be a good time to send some photos, nothing works better for advertising than a nice set of pictures.

I've heard your concerns before on the stainless worktops. I tend to advise customers towards the bamboo worktops. They are laminated solid bamboo were as the stainless sets on top of a sub straight of partical board.

No one purchases NewAge cabinets at retail. Find a set that's close to what you need and any extra cabinets to fill out your space. Add those to a quote instead of a shopping cart and I'll send you an invoice you can purchase from.

I'm a small business of one person. You can get a better price from the sets shown on Costco. They are a much larger business. They get better prices than I do.

If you don't see what you want at Costco, I'm your guy.

Thanks for supporting small business.

Thanks for posting my wall cabinets :), wife loves them for pantry storage. My bench area is messy but I’m done with the installation of the cabinets and slat wall.
Only thing I need to figure out is how to get power to the workbench area - my garage wall on this side has NO outlets to begin with. =[

So I'm now focusing on planning cabinets, etc for my small garage - was thinking of going the DIY plywood cabinet route to maximize the space/efficiency, but keep coming back to look at your cabinets. Have a couple of questions:
- I'm in Vancouver BC, is shipping still included?
- are any substitutes allowed? I am looking at the pro series #6, but only need 1 tall cabinet, but would like 3, 5-drawer lower tool cabinets. Is that possible?
- so you have any 3D Sketchup files of your cabinets so I can 'try' them out in my model?

Thanks!

We don't ship to Canada. NewAge has a Canadian Website check with them for shipping in Canada.

NewAge packs smaller cabinets, like wall and base cabinets, inside the tall locker cabinets. So when you see a set with 2 lockers, it will also have 2 wall cabinets and 2 of the base cabinet variations. I don't know which set is the Pro series #6 set. NewAge no longer uses numbers to designate sets in the US.

You can purchase the set you want as individual cabinets. Because of the locker cabinet your order would ship as freight on a pallet.

NewAge offers a design service there's a link on the website, top of the page.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info - I've contacted the Canadian supplier, but can't see option for Platinum.

Silly question perhaps, but how hard would it be to paint the 'body' of the charcoal ones white (assuming no Platinum options in Canada)?

There are no silly questions.

OK maybe there are but I don't see why you can't paint your cabinets any color you want. The Platinum cabinets have a white cabinet with platinum doors. The Gray cabinets have a black cabinet with gray doors.

Thanks for your support of small business.:beer::beer:

Good lord I wish I saw this thread back when I bought mine in Nov 2018. They are STILL sitting in my other garage waiting to be installed. My new garage is 99% done, just need the compressor and to finish putting the polyurea on the floor. That will be in the spring when I can rely on more steady temps. Here in MA we have been getting days of mid to upper 40's down to the teens at random...very annoying LOL

John,
Looking to purchase a large order of Pro 3.0 cabinets to build out my garage and shop. I used the Newage design center and made some mods to their design. Gonna buy (2) 14 piece set and (1) 10 piece set from Costco. Need a bunch of other parts but can't figure out how to get it in a quote as you recommend above? All the pieces are in my shopping cart now. Can you advise so I can send it to you? Thanks

Continue to the checkout page and before entering your credit card information close the screen. That will send your information to me as a cancelled order.

My quote is based on my overall cost. If I quote you for the complete order 3 sets and some individual cabinets my profit will be more cause you purchased more and I can come closer to matching the Costco price on the sets. Give me a chance to bid the full order.

Thanks for your support of small business. Go 49er's

OK, I'll do that. I'm assuming you're talking the checkout page on your website, shopstoragecabinets.com and not the shopnewage.com? shopnewage is where everything is currently in my cart!
