Should have picked up the 5.5 mm socket with nut holding feature. Makes installing removing those tiny fasteners under the dash on ac actuators much easier, no more dropped fasteners.
I don't think any of the new color coded Wera tools are made anywhere but Taiwan. I have some older sockets that came from the Cech Republic. I like Wera sockets a side from their laser etched size markings.

Hi Fedwrench,
I purchased late last year a Wera 1/4" drive nut holding socket set (4-13mm); and the same but a 3/8" drive set (8-19mm). Both Wera color coded socket sets were made in the Czech Republic. I posted pictures of both sets in the "Tools of the Old World" thread.

Update- Fedwrench: I checked out your link on KC Tool. I did comparisons between the single Wera nut holding socket and the sets. You were right. Wera is shifting production for the nut holding sockets to Taiwan. I must have gotten each of the remaining Czech Republic sets.
Wera 1/4" drive nut holding socket set (still says made in Czech Republic)
Wera 3/8" drive nut holding socket set (says made in Taiwan)
