I believe that to be a european or Danish thing. No such legislation here in the states...at least I don't think so
Thanks ZZ. I don't think so either. I was trying to find the book or a parts breakdown, because they said something it wasn't broken English but it's lol but it said something about the oil something or it may become long holes and then it wouldn't be warrantied.
I guess they mean the holes would become wallowed out.
But I understand support is pretty good from AC hydraulics, so I might just have to get with them.
I just hope it's not damaged or nothing's missing or anything I've had pretty good luck with Amazon warehouse though,
Even on stuff like brake rotors and FWD hub bearings.
Just have to see.

That's a GREAT price, how did you get that? When I clicked on it it's $583

Thanks for the list I see one in Brentwood, this is closer to me and where Vice President Harris has a home.

Okay you talked me into it LOL.................

I figure we only live once on this Earth I might as well get the one I wanted.
I had not picked it up yet from Menards,
And they told me I could just cancel it without penalty and they would credit my credit card back I went ahead and ordered the
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074QSCV5Q/?tag=atomicindus08-20
It should be here July 7th.
I got it for $462.92 through Amazon warehouse,
But I made sure I can still return it if there was anything wrong and I made sure that I still had the same warranty from the distributor or the company the manufacturer they answered me on Amazon

I have a feeling the bolts they are referring to are going to be missing, they do show a picture of mounting the top handle but they don't show a picture of the bottom where they say,
"Then place lever in tipping gear, and secure it with tip-
ping gear screw fitting into slot in tube lever."
Is that pretty much self-explanatory?
And will the screw or bolt I need be pretty much self-explanatory?

Also they say,
Important: It is mandatory to lubricate axle
(9106200/9106900) for tipping gear every month! If
not you risk “long” holes in the pump – and this is NO
warranty!
Again they don't show an illustration is this pretty much self-explanatory?
I'm probably not going to be using the Jack everyday either.
They say if not, you risk long holes in the pump. I guess they're talking about wallowing out holes in the pump somewhere?

If these units would require warranty, we are not responsible for shipping this to Denmark I hope?

Yeah, the screw to fit handle to pump should be pretty obvious. If it's not there, you could probably just grab one from the hardware store.

As for the "tipping gear" the 91XXXXXX are part numbers. If you refer to the parts diagram in the back it's simply the axle connecting the handle/foot assembly to the pump assembly.

So it goes through both the handle and the foot assembly?
Is there a Parts diagram online anywhere.
Or did yours come with the jack?
Don't think I saw it in the PDF I downloaded.

My jack came with the manual but it's available online as well: https://www.ac-hydraulic.dk/pdf/manuals/dk13-20.pdf

~page 16
The screw is #7
The axle they are referring to is #24
Thanks,
Yeah, I didn't look down far enough. PDF is hard to read on the phone. So it looks like the tipping gear and normal operation when you're using the Jack handle actually moves the foot pedal also or you can move the foot pedal separate to get it up to the jacking point of the vehicle.
here's a picture.

Yup. Use the foot pedal to bring the jack arm up to the jack point quickly. Then use the arm (which will move the foot pedal as well) to raise the vehicle. The foot pedal is really handy.

Anyone with the AC hydraulic jacks wear out the o-ring on the wheels?
I guess they all take the same Wheels I think? Someone in another group said they had trouble with the o-rings wearing out.
(O rings on the wheels)
Replacement are $6.00 each at pelican. I wonder if you could just use a regular o-ring?

Mine never came with those rings. Maybe that is an evolution of the jack as I have had mine. For. A long time.

my 2008 vintage DK13HLQ has them, so if a change was made I suspect it was prior to that.

Wow that's a good bit ago.
I don't know since they canceled my jack stands I'm waiting for them to cancel this Jack too I don't understand why they're haven't shipped it yet.
And I'm mad because they raised the jack stands up to almost $100 from $55.00, and if they cancel my AC Hydraulics Jack, Menards already raised the yellow jacket clone Jack about $20.00.
Plus they are still showing Amazon warehouse jack stands why couldn't they just send me one of those instead of canceling my order. See, there was an option to change shipping date so I moved it up maybe I should have left it alone that's for the jack stands now not the jack.

I've wondered about this too as my floor is regularly full of chips from the mill(s) or lathe(s) or abrasive dust.

More specifically, I've wondered how long mine will last, but I see zero need to replace them when/if they do. They're just supposed to aid in not marring the floors of GarageMahals with silly things like Race Deck flooring or similar. I'm a working fab and machine shop so bare concrete is the ticket

Right you probably wouldn't have to if you're not worried about protecting the floor the only other thing maybe if you just popped a generic o-ring on there if they did break it might prolong the life of the wheels a little bit.

I called Amazon and asked him why they canceled it and everything you know they have to keep going and talking to a supervisor and coming back well anyways in the end I asked him I said or if they can't honor my original $41 something price if they could possibly extend the $55 new price to me took about 45 minutes on the phone but they actually did give me a $55 credit can't beat that, I could use it to order the brand new jack stands or I could actually use it for anything.
Oh and I told them I was concerned since they canceled this other order that they were going to cancel my AC Hydraulics Jack he "said not to worry", as it was a guaranteed delivery date of July 7th so hopefully I said you have them in stock and everything he said yes not to worry so hopefully it will not be canceled.

Mine took a week to get even though I'm a prime member. Also didn't get shipping confirmation til it was almost at my door. I'm guessing it's because it's a big, heavy object that their warehouse robots don't normally do and has to be manually be pulled/shipped. Box also says it requires two people to lift so there's that as well.

I like the rings, makes it quiet to roll around. At $6 per, and if they last a long while I don't see why not to get them again. But I don't really have a machine shop thing going on.

^ Thanks for the information Steve, it looks like there is a grove in the wheel for the O-ring, my DK20 does not have any grooves in the wheels and did not come with any. I have had my AC for close to 20 years so I am not sure if the older jacks didn't come with O-ringed wheels or what.

AC Hydraulic went to wheels with o-rings to make them a little quieter. Thousands of broken wheels and o-rings. Wish they had gone to poly wheels instead. I had to make up a few sets for my personal AC jacks.

Here are the replacement handle screws I supplied with all of the AC jacks....the standard ones were usually gunked up with paint. I think they were DIN 912 8x16's.

I like those poly wheels. Will have to do that when the O-rings break. @ultgar, on your webpage you mention a 15min adjustment to the jack hydraulics. Would you be able to detail that procedure? Or are you basically pre-emptively performing the "Troubleshooting 1" of the service manual?

Mine is operating fine as far as I can tell, but if I there are things I can do to fine tune it I will.

Correct.......it's referenced in the Troubleshooting guidelines in the manual. I used to have the write-up with pictures but took it down as my competitors were stealing it for their own customers. I checked and serviced many of these DK20's and DK13's over the years. Pelican should have details, especially if they are a distributor and service center as I was.

As to the poly wheels, I paid around $500 for 2 sets of prototypes (have them on my 20Q and 13HLQ) but there was not enough demand to put them into production and the fabricator insisted on a 1000 set minimum order. Plus this was around the time that Esco started copying the flat top jackstands in China and selling them at a much lower price. Was afraid the same would happen with the polyurethane wheels after I had invested $10-12k in a US production run.

Yeah, finally showing shipped on Monday.
I didn't want them to leave it just anywhere, I want it at the garage and I would like to look it over when they bring it
I called Amazon and asked them to have the driver call me when they are close.
I hope they do and don't just leave it, especially leave it at my door cuz it will be hard for me to get it to the garage.
Amazon is shipping it I guess one of their own trucks?

I didn't see who dropped it off but I'm guessing it was an Amazon truck. They have a distribution center not far from me. They put it on my porch but I just loaded it onto a dolly and brought it to my garage. Heavy enough to require two people to lift without hurting the back but the size is manageable with a dolly.

I got my ******** Amazon (supposed to be delivered tomorrow)
So I don't actually have a dealer, would I contact AC hydraulics directly if I need warranty?
Not sure how it works with Amazon. Maybe contact Pelican parts if they are the importer? This is why I tend to shy away from Amazon for big ticket or heavy items that might need warranty support. I think Zoro sells these jacks now....not sure if they still have 20-25% off coupons.

I got my Jack today I didn't unbox it yet though, not feeling too too well.
Hopefully tomorrow and hopefully everything will be okay with it.

I used the jack today.
I don't know if it's just me, but I find it kind of hard to jack up the front of my car with that jack.

I don’t know what you are lifting, but the jack you purchased is rated for 2600lbs. Obviously the front of your vehicle is under that spec or it would simply bypass, but the closer you are to the jacks rating = greater handle feedback when lifting loads. If you click the original link of the jack you purchased it’s unavailable, but I see the 2.2 ton model is only $330 +\- Prime.
