You should be using type V fittings anyway. That's really the reason. With respect to air fittings in general I prefer Prevost. To LXCam: Just you try buddy I'll rat you out.

I’d have to echo mikes question.

But if ya need snap, I’ll risk life and limb for you and smile smuggle some in. I ain’t afeared of no damn tree hugger. 😎
That's admirable. I did manage to order some. I just don't know how they relate to CARB.. Maybe they're going to ban air tools next.

Maybe in california they have taken to putting quick connect fittings on their bongs and crack pipes? And since most of the fittings a made with leaded steel and leaded brass they are protecting the health of their constituents??????

Scratch that. The vendor I ordered from just canceled my order under fraud suspicion. Back to the hunt for some F'ing air fittings.

Edit: Overpaid for the stupid things on Amazon. I tried...

Sacramento County I believe is what the article I was reading named.
Not sure how CARB would be involved unless they think you can use them to spray paint..................................

Probably does not have a cancer warning on the package. Anything sold in California is known to be a cancer causing agent and must be labeled as such.

We got plywood in with a California Warning that it "May contain wood fibers, which are Known to cause Cancer in the State of California".
First, I would HOPE my plywood contains wood fibers.
Second, Does the cancer only occur in California, and how does it know to not cause cancer anywhere else?

I got an email back from Acmetools stating it was due to a changeover issue to their new website and I could order the fittings over the phone. That doesn't explain Summit and the other site though. It probably does have something to do with prop 65.

Too bad Amazon already delivered them.

Even coffee was mandated to have a prop 65 warning by a judge a few years ago. Alas some cooler thinking head(still nuts in California) overrode that judge. But still.

It isn't like coffee isn't processed before we get it brewed. Definitely chances for **** to get added that makes it cheaper or faster for them to process and package it

The main issue is with acrylamide. A chemical produced during high temp cooking, therefore many of the foods we consume.

And if that is known to be a possible cause of cancer, I'm glad it is highlighted, even though most will blow it off.

Don’t get me wrong, I'll still drink coffee and in significant quantities

Pretty sure everything - possibly - causes cancer.

Multiple peer reviewed, double blind, studies? With reproducible results, which are statistically significant? Then we can make some signs.
