A LOTwhat is wrong with them people?
I heard it was going to fall off and sink... still waiting.A wall needs built around that state.
Yeah, do you know how that relates to an air fitting? I can't even wrap my head around it.California Air Resources Board.
Let's just wait a few more months until I'm outta here...I heard it was going to fall off and sink... still waiting.
Acmetools, Summit, and some other random site all blocked me at checkout. I did find one though. So you found multiple sites that won't ship them for that reason?
Otherwise, I would assume it is an error with the one company's system
Yeah, do you know how that relates to an air fitting? I can't even wrap my head around it.
That's admirable. I did manage to order some. I just don't know how they relate to CARB.. Maybe they're going to ban air tools next.I’d have to echo mikes question.
But if ya need snap, I’ll risk life and limb for you and smile smuggle some in. I ain’t afeared of no damn tree hugger.![]()
None of my tools flow over 40cfm. I'd just get type G if I needed. You should be using type V fittings anyway. That's really the reason. With respect to air fittings in general I prefer Prevost. To LXCam: Just you try buddy I'll rat you out.
No, I could not find the spec. I doubt it’s lead or brass, there is something like prop 65 that requires labels, but won’t block the sale.Yeah, do you know how that relates to an air fitting? I can't even wrap my head around it.
Don't give them any more ideas. That's admirable. I did manage to order some. I just don't know how they relate to CARB.. Maybe they're going to ban air tools next.
Wouldn't be surprised. Sounds like something that would happen up in the bay area.Didn't read where some areas in Ca outlawed air compressors in residential areas?

- Conducted outside a fully enclosed garage or accessory structure and resulting in the vehicle being inoperable for a period in excess of 24 hours. (See Section 3.2.5, Table 3.2 (I) of the Zoning Code)
Pretty sure there was a thread about that awhile ago. "Tools not normally found in a residential garage".Sacramento County I believe is what the article I was reading named.
Not sure how CARB would be involved unless they think you can use them to spray paint..................................
Where in the fittings is there lead? With the fittings, It’s a lead issue, as a few others have pointed out.
I'm surprised they aren't shipped with a label stating they cause cancer.
Probably does not have a cancer warning on the package.
There may be no lead, but unless they certify as lead free, it is treated the same.Where in the fittings is there lead?
It isn't like coffee isn't processed before we get it brewed. Definitely chances for **** to get added that makes it cheaper or faster for them to process and package it
The main issue is with acrylamide. A chemical produced during high temp cooking, therefore many of the foods we consume. It isn't like coffee isn't processed before we get it brewed. Definitely chances for **** to get added that makes it cheaper or faster for them to process and package it
And if that is known to be a possible cause of cancer, I'm glad it is highlighted, even though most will blow it off.The main issue is with acrylamide. A chemical produced during high temp cooking, therefore many of the foods we consume.

Don’t get me wrong, I'll still drink coffee and in significant quantities

So lets make industry spend who knows how much money (probably millions) to place prop 65 stickers on everything just out of fear of lawsuits, so most will blow it off, even admittedly you??? MMMM, Makes sense to me.
Yes, you captured the entirety of my opinion on the matter in your post.So lets make industry spend who knows how much money (probably millions) to place prop 65 stickers on everything just out of fear of lawsuits, so most will blow it off, even admittedly you??? MMMM, Makes sense to me.
