I am wondering if it would be possible to convert the old friction slides on my 1990s Craftsman tool boxes to soft close types? Has anyone converted or modified a tool box like this?
I want to get a four post lift but my garage isn't very deep (19 feet). Would a four post fit? It's 23 feet wide so that isn't an issue. If it doesn't fit I am thinking a scissor lift or Max Jax, but cannot decide.

I wasn't trolling but I understand most believe Taiwanese tools have some good quality stuff and I have some myself. Chinese tools are usually trashed but these seem to be decent quality and they were inexpensive. I just wondered if things were different 40 years ago.
