    12x16 shed - should I pour a foundation?

I bought a Toughshed which requires no slab as it's built on steel floor joists and put right on level grade. It does have a plywood floor which you may not want in which case pour a slab and frame it up yourself.

How do you organize small hardware (nuts & bolts etc...) ?

I use peanutbutter jars; one for bolts 5/16" or smaller, one for 5/16 or larger, same for nuts and washers. Other jars for metal screws, wood screws, etc, etc. Crude but it works ok and I love the smell of peanutbutter.

Please help beginner paving own driveway.

I don't know if it freezes in NC but if it does you might order "Air entrainment" added to the mix design. Pull out your screed boards and stakes after you screed that part and fill the gaps left with a shovel. FYI: asphalt IS actually concrete it's just made with asphalt instead of cement...

The water will float right out as you pour. Not to worry. Plus or minus one inch of slump is within spec. on most mix designs (FYI)

    Well water pressure

Rich, What is needed is gauges on the output of the pressure pump and output from the pressure tank so you can better monitor your system. There may be pressure lossed due to a defective pump or damaged pressure tank internals. While living in Hawaii I used much the same system, with a catchment...

    Help Me Pour Concrete!

Ive been around this stuff for 30 years and my best advice to you is to contact a service rep. from the concrete supplier. He can usually help you with equipment, tools, setup and how-to advice. Best yet get two day-laborers from our neighbors to the south and they will all but do it for you...

    Questions about quoted concrete?

If I did this right you'll need 24.5 yards of mud @ $80./yd =$1952. With $350. for removal and forming up the slab $2300 is a real good deal.

What (besides power) should I run to the shed

Do yourself a favor and run lots of futures ie. toilet drain, vent pipe, water supply line underground before pouring the slab. ABS and PVC is cheap. No need to hook it up just stub it out beyond the stemwalls Bob
