    Shortening a Mr Cool lineset

Well, my Mr Cool is giving a bit of issues. It didnt really want to turn back on this summer (it comes on and off at time) but I found that the larger line on the condenser seems to be freezing up. Couple people told me its probably a little low on coolant. While I was out there the loop of...

Car dollies vs machine skates vs others...moving lathe

When I moved my equipment, I used a pallet jack. The surface grinder was 5000lbs. I suggest finding a way to lift it up enough to build a DIY pallet with some 4x4s under it and screw them together with some 2x4s. Use a pallet jack or two.

Thanks for the suggestions... DG - The PVC strips was my original thought from working in a grocery store many years ago. Monza Harry - Barn Door was my next thought. I have one side of the wall that could slide a whole door. Gotham - we end up going back and forth a couple times a day. We...

Need help dividing a/c space from parking

Dream Garage Build? Size and Cost for 2 Cars + Work Space

You shouldnt need an architect to build the garage. Any draftsman can whip up plans. Heck in my area (DFW) you dont need an architect until you are over 10,000sqft.

Thinking of Buying Lincoln Weld-Pak 180 at Home Depot

Id run 80-125cf. The price difference between bottles isnt much and refill is much cheaper per CF when refilling bigger bottles.

There was a thread started a couple weeks ago about the same topic. A few of us have built them. Check out Jeremy Schmidt's plans.

    Garage door framing

Just make sure you know they wont give you any type of plans. They are going to drop off some lumber and how you frame it is up to you. If you can find you some helpers to do this on the side, you will appreciate it later. I was framing my building myself and we had some family friends that...
