I haven't even started building yet. Just in the permitting and planning stage.
Will a concrete sealer peel up if hot tires are parked on them? Is it slippery when when wet(anti skid needed?).
I know there are tons of options for floor coatings for garages.
I'm building a 30x60 attached garage (DIY). I want an applied coating (Epoxy?), not tile or racedeck style flooring. Because it's such a large area I'd like a DIY option.
Is there an option I can DIY, that can stand up to cars...
You will see a lot of aircraft guys use them. They're usually used on the end of a speeder handle for installing and removing panel screws on an aircraft. Restricted space and lots of screws that you need to put copious amounts of pressure into so you don't strip the screw (or to remove the...
I've spent a few lifetimes drilling out aircraft screws. We don't bother with left handed bits. We just buy 1/8th drill bits by the fist full and treat them as consumables. Use them until they're dull and grab another. I find there is no cheap way to get away with it. Regular good bits last...
If you're just looking to operate the fan. Chances are there are 2 spade terminals that take the input power and put it into the control board. The control board then probably just powers a solenoid which would have more spade connectors.
Check the motor but it is likely a 110v motor. Rewire...
Zebra F701 Stainless steel pen. I've had the same one for 8+ years with only a few refills in it.
I handed it to a billionaire one day who remarked what a nice pen it was.
7 bucks.
So after spending the better part of 8 years in a falling down 1.5 car detached garage, my wife finally asked if it was time to build a real attached garage.
No problem. I've always wanted to do it but time and finances are finally in the realm of possibility.
I can only go 30ft wide due to...
Tigerwave is generally considered the best option in the airplane community. Prevents a bunch of broken wire and if you get a more recent pair it has some rubber in the jaws so you don't lose your loose tail.
Those look a whole lot like collar ties or potentially rafter ties, depending on their height.
Rafter ties prevent the roof from spreading the walls apart. Collar ties prevent the roof peak from separating from wind uplift or other unbalanced loads.
Leave'r be.
I was hoping to prove that I was getting low voltage from the supply side. Not that my household usage could drag it down.
Admittedly, I don't understand enough to know if there is a difference between the two.
