I'm looking at doing the same thing as Colonial Cobra did but a garage door guy said it requires different springs. Is this true???

    The MaxJax Portable 2-Post Lift

I also have 3 anchors that set higher and cut off the tops, but at about 1/8-1/4 inch beneath the level of the floor. Have not "installed" the Max-Jax yet but I did notice Danmar now offers epoxy in anchors. You may want to try those before you cut the slab?

    Performax Wall Cabinet

Looks like for me the price is about the same, ordering the Seville ones online 3 at a time actually ends up cheaper than me picking them up at the local Sams location. Already assembled one of the Seville ones but need more. Went ahead and picked up one of these Performax ones since the...

Hello Everyone. For those of you installing a lift like the MaxJax, has anyone had trouble pounding the anchors into their concrete? I drilled the first hole out 5/8' and then finished it with a 7/8" bit (as required but the anchor instructions) and cleaned the hole out with air but it was very...

    Concrete Etched, Need Advice

The divots are small about the size of sand granules. I like your floor regguy1, I'm doing almost the same colors (epoxy and chips) and still haven't decided if I will chip the floor or not though, depends on how the solid primer coat looks..

    Concrete Etched, Need Advice

Hello Everyone, I need some "advice". I have searched but did not find an answer to this question. I have just started prepping for epoxy and have etched my floor 2 times now with a 1:1 Muriatic Acid:Water ratio and there are spots where it is not quite the texture of 100 grit sandpaper. In...

    Epoxy floor in cold weather

Thanks guys, I am familiar with the consequences. Have had that happen with fiberglass resin in the winter. I will take my chances and pray for warmer weather when I do the actual application. Hoping to get the garage empty and etched this weekend and then its time to wait.....
