Nice find today at a local surplus material store. WF 84 13/16 x 7/8 and on the reverse side it's stamped AFT Engine. Looks better cleaned up.

Sorry it took so long to post a picture. From what I can gather these were sold at Grants Department stores.

Has anyone heard of Grants axes? If so are they rare and were they a good axe?

Sideways is fine. We carry them on our trucks at work. I work as a firefighter and a few of our trucks have them stored that way. Just turn it upside and hit it on the bottom with a rubber mallet. This fluffs the powder so it does not settle.
