    Small TIG welders?

I bought a Eastwood tig200. I got it because I always wanted to learn TIG and wanted to be able to weld aluminum. I like it. Pretty basic I guess but it will run off 110 or 220 and has the option of running pedal or switch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bought my own house with shop!

its a 50x30 shop. the stud spacing is 3'. its already insulated  this part of MS is pretty much farm country so it was probably built for farming equipment. I'd like to sheet the walls at least 8' up to protect the insulation.

Still have a long way to go but at least I have a clear spot to work on some long neglected...

Bought my own house with shop!

Well I said I'd never live in Mississippi, but a job change and an unexpected opportunity finds me buying a place in Noxubee county... With a shop the place needs a lot of cleaning up (especially in the shop) The PO moved across the country a few years ago and has been renting the house out. So...

What's a fair price? Old lathe..

Thanks for the response.. From what I've read (practical machinist forum and others) hand scraping is a legitimate way to "flatten" the bed of a lathe, providing an appropriate level of skill of course. Dunno.. Whatever the case I'm not going to be doing ultra precision work anyway. I think I'll...

What's a fair price? Old lathe..

Runs fine. Everything seems to turn free.. It's sat for probably 5 years.. Before that it had been recently gone over "by an old machinist and trued up with a file" that's about all I know about it..

What's a fair price? Old lathe..

I know it's impossible to give a price on an old piece of machinery without looking at it your self. But could anybody give me a ballpark figure what this lathe might be worth?

Need help choosing a backpack blower and chainsaw

Get a Stihl.. Br600 is a super nice blower, but bigger than most people need... For a saw, if you don't use it that much and don't need a very big saw check out a ms250. I believe they've just been replaced with the ms251c which is basically the same saw with an ez-start feature. They're our...

Modifications to the HF 4 and 5 drawer service carts - what changes have you made?

I've been writing on mine with regular dry-erase marker.. Seems to work well, but if I leave something on there for a couple weeks it's a little harder to erase..
