    Tools from the old world

Monte, great photos as ever :) I'm sure I have some of those Stanley screwdrivers under another branding, but I can't remember who! I have to point out my great appreciation to NWS. After I snapped the tip off my pliers pulling an r-clip out I bought another set, but thought I'd drop an email...

    Tools from the old world

Thanks for the link dave26, I'll have a look! I have my current metric set for the very small and very large sizes, so a Stahlwille set covering the core sizes would be ideal

Function, that looks great! I wish mine was laid out so neatly inside!

Where's that from? :D £80 is more in the region of what I paid for my AF set. I've never seen a Metric set, or set made from individuals, that low.

Thank you. That is the place I bought my AF set from, but I haven't checked back there in ages. I think come pay day I'll have a matching metric set :D

How do you keep your tools organized, when working from the floor

I use a cat litter tray too. I only have a single garage, so while the the car is on there on stands, I have to refurb the subframes out on the drive. Wandering around the shops at the weekend, found big litter trays for a pound each, so grabbed too, one for tools, and one for parts as I strip...

    Tools from the old world

I think I need some new needle nose pliers. Pulling a pin and suddenly it let go, and something flew past my head. Tip of my lovely NWS pliers! Snapped tip by bcjamesmini, on Flickr

    Halfords tools

Their pro stuff is rebranded Gearwrench level stuff for the most part. I have some of it I keep in a mobile box for on the road. It's not bad, well priced, and comes with a lifetime warranty. I was given a set of their screwdrivers for free when I bought some oil last week, marked made in...

    Hammers for auto mechanic

My main hammers are a 32oz ball pein and a No.2 Copper. I really don't use my deadblows much.
