    Life of a Mini-Split

Pretty much "gas and go". Really disappointed with the service tech (and his company). A few years ago the company was top notch for our area, appears they have dropped way down. It's been too cool to run the system since the (so-called) service work. When it warms up we'll see what if any...

    Life of a Mini-Split

Had the service man in Monday. Ended up with refrigerant recovered and weighed. System was low, has been recharged. It's been too cool to run since. When it warms up we'll see if the excess humidity problem has changed. Last summer it seemed like the system was pumping humidity into the house...

    Life of a Mini-Split

The below relates to my home (really close to my garage, and seem some knowledgeable folks here) We had a Fujitju mini-split system installed about 10 years ago. Seems to still cool well but the past couple years it doesn't de-humidify very well. All seems to be working as expected, serviced...

    Rural King 10,000 Luman Lights

Thanks for the input. reckon I better rethink this plan. It doesn't sound like these lights are a good answer for me. On to a bunch of reading.

    Rural King 10,000 Luman Lights

I'm looking at these lights for a 30' x 30' x 10' high garage. In the front, centered between 2 overhead doors I've got a 10' x 4' x ceiling height rack built. https://www.ruralking.com/4-foot-led-10000-lumen-shop-light-sl021mfl100 I'd like to use 5 of these, one on each side of the rack in...

    Backup Power (portable generator) advice

Kaoskido - your location hasn't been mentioned. Makes a big difference on heating demand. Really think about fuel demand for the size generator you're looking at.

Illinois seems to be the poster child for unfunded public pensions but PA is trying like hell to catch up. Everyone wants a ride but no one wants to pay!

30x40 SHOP with 14ft ceilings/ Need shop lights? which ones?

Don't have them, but since they're LED lights should not be affected by cold.

    Dewalt Air Compressor

Thanks, looks like it will meet my needs. Not looking to run a business, fairly new to air tools so I think it will make a nice transition from my double stack Emglo.

    Dewalt Air Compressor

Hello all. First post, looking for a little input on an air compressor. A local store will be selling Dewalt D55168 next week for $199. It's a 1.6 HP, 15 gallon tank which runs at 200 psig. 5 scfm @ 90 psig output. Should be enough for my needs....I've managed with a much smaller compressor...
