    Armstrong 27-609 rat. wrench set

Anybody have first hand experience with these wrenches? I'm interested in the 7 piece SAE set, one side traditional box end with a ratcheting box end on the other side. I can pick a used set up pretty cheap and I'm wondering if any of you have used them. Thanks in advance for any input/opinions.

Milwaukee M12 Fuel vs. Bosch 18V

I have that Bosch combo kit and I absolutely love it. The tools are very compact, light, and powerful. Battery life is great. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Milwaukee M18 kit vs Bosch 18v kit

I ended up picking up the Bosch CLPK232-181 kit. I went back and forth between this kit and the comparable Milwaukee kit for a couple weeks. It came down to ergonomics to me. The Bosch tools were simply more comfortable for me. I finally got the chance to put both the drill and impact driver to...

    Impact driver bit set?

Waiting on the dewalt set to show up in the mail. I used the Bosch phillips bit that came with my new impact driver all day today and I'm very impressed. I'm not sure if it's even "impact rated," but it stood up to a TON of fasteners today and still looks brand new.

    Impact driver bit set?

Just closed on my first home yesterday...money is tight. Trying to balance quality and cost. For 16 bucks I'll see how far the Dewalt set gets me. As finances allow I will definitely pick up a set from Wera or Wiha.

    Impact driver bit set?

Those wiha and wera bit sets sure look nice but are a little out of my price range. Anyone have experience with Dewalt's impact bits? I'm eyeing this set http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EYU5OC/?tag=atomicindus08-20 Certainly no wiha or wera, but I imagine they will be sufficient for my use...

    Impact driver bit set?

Any recommendations for a quality impact driver bit set? I'd prefer USA made, but I'm not sure such a thing exists. Quality is first priority, cost is second. I'm not interested in cheapo bits that won't last long, but I'd like to find something at a reasonable price. I'd be interested in...

Milwaukee M18 kit vs Bosch 18v kit

Caretaker - I know. It's like saying I'm interested in buying a Chevy and everyone recommends a Cadillac 57Joe - I am certainly interested in buying quality tools. I always have and I always will. But saying I need to buy brushless to get "professional" tools to do a professional job is simply...

Milwaukee M18 kit vs Bosch 18v kit

I will not be purchasing from red's FUEL line or Bosch's new brushless line. I can't justify the cost of brushless tools for my usage. After spending the past few hours reading about these kits, I'm actually looking at http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005GT0IXO/?tag=atomicindus08-20 Basically trading...

Milwaukee M18 kit vs Bosch 18v kit

I really don't see myself picking up a ton of cordless tools, so I don't think the massive M18 lineup (and it is impressive) is going to sway my opinion. I already have corded heavy duty power tools (circ saws, hammer drills, recip saw, etc) and air tools (impacts, air ratchets, etc), so I'm...

Milwaukee M18 kit vs Bosch 18v kit

I'll be moving into my first house at the end of the month and will have all kinds of projects. I already have a the vast majority of tools I need. The house is just 5 minutes from my workshop, so lots of big projects will be tackled there. There is one thing I'm missing and need to get: A new...

Is there an end to welding table questions?

I drew up some plans and did some measuring - I definitely have enough 1.5" angle to build the frame. All I need to buy is 20' of 1/2"x4" and some good casters, so I will be into this for $200 or less. I have a Colombian vise I hastily cleaned and painted to mount on it. Should be a fun and...

Is there an end to welding table questions?

Thanks for the input guys. I've built several carts, benches, and lighter duty tables at school over the past couple months. I think as long as my layout, fit up, and welds are up to par, I'll be in good shape. My reservations about the frame thickness are mostly due to this forum, which I...

Is there an end to welding table questions?

The time has come to build a proper welding table. I'll be graduating from a 900 hour welding course at a local trade school in a few months and would like to start doing more side jobs. These would range from small weldments to larger items like furniture, carts, etc. I would like to do...
