I need a truck, my Chevy Cruze isn't rated to tow much, no one with a pickup I can put the arm on.

Working on a deal for a Snap On KRL1023. It's about 150 miles away, for a good price. They weigh 1000 pounds empty, I'm thinking two of us can push it up the ramp on a rental truck. Anyone done this? Am I being too ambitious? And other ideas? Thank you for any input.

Obviously, so far none of you know. I know I can haggle all day with the guy. I was hoping I could find out his price, offer him $300 over that and call it a day. No fuss, no chasing me for a payment, no trying to sell a trade in. So if you don't know the mark up on Snap On KRL series tool...

I don't have a trade in, and he likely will never get what I'm looking for on a trade in. I'm looking for something very specific.

Does anyone know the markup on Snap On tool boxes? Looking at a KRL series, I want to make a one time cash offer to my dealer. I'm sure they make a lot on them, I'm hoping he'll be willing to make a few hundred dollars for little effort on his part. Thank you.

No. The KRL1023 is 29 deep, vs. 24 deep for my KRL722. It's also taller, giving another row of deep drawers. For the tools I have, I feel it's what would suit me best.

In 1987 I bought a KR550/KR560 set as my "last tool box ever". It was crammed full, I found a deal on the KRL722. I intended to buy the matching KRL791 but they are hard to find used AND in Extreme Green. So for now, this is what I have.

Of course I don't "need" this box, no one does. I'm guessing many of you have things you don't "need", maybe a motorcycle or four wheeler. I just want one. Is it worth the list price of $11,005? I bought the KRL722 for $2000. I looked at it as $6000 for what I wanted, and wouldn't have to mess...

I have had SO 1/2 impact sockets, 3/8-1 1/2, and 10mm to 26mm, for about 35 years. I replaced the 15/16 socket once. That's it. I use them a lot.

I can pay cash, but have to finance to get the discount. If I pay before 90 days it doesn't cost anything. So not really financing, just fooling SO credit.

Yes it does. Imagine a big tool box with only two drawers. Lots of CUBIC inches, but square inches on which to store tools is less. Thats fine if you want to pile all your junk without organizing it. You might as well us a filing cabinet. Ive done my homework, the KRL1023 will suit my needs.
