WTB: Older Craftsman 52 inch stainless top box.

My landlord of 8 years couldn't raise my rent to "market value", so he simply refused to renew our lease. In the scramble to relocate some of my business operations, and being totally stressed out, I forgot the top box isn't screwed together front and back, so I lost in a turn. I was...

Thoughts on vinyl paint booth solutions?

My apologies for not posting sooner, but here's what I have been considering. http://www.panamericatrade.com/categories/Paint-Booth-Curtains/ The more I think about it, the more I think building something for the space will be cheaper and easier.

Thoughts on vinyl paint booth solutions?

I've got a 3200 sqft space and would like to be able to do some light spraying indoors. (Spot and panel clear, not a whole car or anything...) I've been seeing vinyl paint booths and I'm curious as to whether any of you have any experience with them. For the money, they seem pretty decent...

Help Wanted: Composites Technician (body shop experience a big plus)

Hey there folks, I'm not sure if this is the right spot to park this, so if a moderator needs to relocate it I apologize in advance. Anyhow, as some of you know, I'm own and operate G3 Composites, LLC, a Pompano Beach, Florida, Carbon Fiber manufacturing company and we're incredibly busy. So...

    Air Line Size

Isn't air considered a fluid? :) Therefore, the glass is always full. :D

    Moisture Control Adhesive?

Hey everyone, I realize this isn't for my garage, but I can use a little help. I'm trying to work out the final details of a 4 3/4" X 3/4" Birch floor installation inside my family room, kitchen and a hallway. (roughly 1000 sqft) I don't have the under counter space to elevate my floor...

So I built my first table today...

Thanks DFA. The table actually started as a temporary setup made up of cheap metal clamps from home depot. Once we screwed the top down, we realized how ridiculous it all looked. Think "two cheap 2x4 horses held together by the top." The damn thing ended up with more legs then an octopus with...

So I built my first table today...

Oh, and here's some of the stuff we're working on right now. :) These are door pulls from my Lotus. Here are some of the Mustang parts, before and in process. H

So I built my first table today...

Thanks guys. :) Right now, we're focusing on smaller interior parts for Mustangs, so this 4X4 is actually working out well. Tomorrow we're planning on adding some bracing/storage to the bottom. We're currently looking for shop space to expand operations, ultimately offering hoods, deck lids...

So I built my first table today...

Well, I'm not sure "built" is the right word, so much as "assembled." :D I picked up some corner brackets, a few 2X4s, and a 4X8 piece of 1/2" plywood and set to work with my friend/business partner, John. I realize we need to frame out the bottoms of the legs, but a Giants vs. Patriots...

    WTB: Vacuum pump

Hey there, I'm looking for a non-oiled vacuum pump for some carbon fiber work I'm doing. I need a minimum of 3 psi, but more is better. An oiled pump can cause issues, so let me know what's available. Thanks, Alan
