It looks like nylon webbing like you would find used as straps and reinforcement in military gear and backpacks.
I pay about 40-50 cents a foot for super high quality 2inch and 25-35 c/ft for the 1inch stuff.
That is for brand new top grade stuff though. I would say you have 60-100$ there.
I picked up something similar to those and it worked just fine. Mine was similar to the ryobi version.
After I used it twice I realized that I could have done just about everything with a tri-square faster than with that jig.
When I start a project everything is spotless, but the work area gets dirtier and dirtier until the job is finished. Once it is done the area is spotless again.
The only real exception to that is when I am working with stuff that needs to stay clean, stuff like painting and grime sensitive...
There is not much that you can do after late winter early spring. The best way to deal with them is to treat all standing water in the area before temperatures get to a point that the egg's will hatch.
While I do not use any of their insulated tools, I have almost their entire line of ESD safe tools for use on electronics.
I have found nothing that works as well and the tips are incredibly durable.
Now their magic ring hex tools however... The 'magic ring' portion has a tendency to break.
