Do you own an ohm meter??????? Just disconnect the lights from the wire runs and check white to ground and black to ground at each fixture and each wire run and there should be no continuity...... If you have continuity, you have a short in that fixture or wire run.... Find it, fix it and be...

Hi, I have 2 8500's and they work great..... The opener controls the jack shaft..... When the jackshaft is turned against spring pressure it winds the spring and the door lowers and it is also the spring pressure that assists the door to be lifted by the opener.... Hope this makes sense, Bob

HELP, We use propane for heat, cooking and the water heater...... During the summer of 2016 we paid $1.56 per gallon and our last fill which was in December cost $2.15 a gallon..... We have all of the discounts available applied to propane such as auto-fill with tank monitor, flat year round...

Just a thought............... Looking at the motor data plate it states 2.5 HP and FLA 11 amps...... The old rule of thumb was at 230 volts 7 amps per HP...... With an FLA of 11 amps this looks like a 1.5 HP 230 volt motor.... I guess that they use an HP rating of 2.5 to fool the customer...
