    Shop in ground pit

Nice pit, I thought about one for a long time, but ended up just going with a Rotary lift, 10K. It's better for allot of things. But for farm equipment, tractors, machinery, I wish I had a pit to work under them, but it's not too bad, as you can usually sit up under them.

    Name these pliers... Please!

Does it look like some visegrips look, with the notch in the top and the bump in the bottom?

Pictures Mounted Heater (Hot Dawg, Mr HEater, etc)

Rustyd02359, You can find unistrut at electrical or plumbing supply warehouses. If they give you a hard time selling direct to you, you could also go to Fastenal, but there again, you won't get as good of a price as if you had an account there, but they should sell to cash customers at least...

    cleaning the floor

I just leave it until it dries up, and then scrape it up with a shovel or hoe. But you may not want to wait that long. Is it freezing up there now? If so, open the doors to let the poop freeze, then scrape it up.

Are you paying for the name?

Does anyone know what the equivilant to Mastercraft is in the United States? Are they available? I used to live in Canada, and most of their tools aren't bad at all for the money, just wondering where I can get similar quality tools here.

    Suggestion for contracting out work

Perhaps he meant the assistant district attourney. Either that, or I watch too much Law & Order.

    ToolKing.com... Any good?

I recently purchased a DW716 double bevel compound miter saw, and an XRP battery charger. I got them from them on ebay, vs. their website. Seems to me some of their stuff is even cheaper on ebay than on the site. Cheap price, fast shipping, no complaints here.

Exterior light on that ribbed steel siding?

Why does it have to be weather tight? If your fixture is wider than 12 inches, just hang it on the main ribs of the PBR panel. That way junk can't get stuck behind it. Just run your electrical through the wall with some MC type cable. Otherwise, you could utilize the foam closures that are...

    Concrete Block Walls

If they are not filled, the blocks can shift, you can knock one loose by hand, and the air will blow right through the new cracks.

    Concrete Block Walls

It works, but make sure you fill with concrete all the way down, of course. We have done it for many walls, some load bearing, others just standing inside or outside a steel structure. The nice thing is your wall is finished, no sheeting, etc, you can hang anything anywhere, no looking for...

    Lift Group Buy

Hmmm, that autolift link doesnt seem to work. Just a linkholder, offering website addresses for sale.

    Building on sloped land

Depending of course on the soil quality and how compacted you want it to be, if it works out for the site layout it is often possible to take the dirt from the high side, put it in the low side, giving you a level site about half the hieght of the original hill. This way you don't have to buy...

    New Shop

Hmm, I just realized that the first pic is of the same tool as the ninth. Definately a drill press of some sort, perhaps a hydrostaticly driven one? Infinate speed adjustments, hydraulic downfeed?

    FINALLY...Started building new garage today!

Do you mean the lines on the OSB? Those come that way when you buy em. It's supposed to help you line up where the stud/rafter is below it, but it never seems to be that way, lol.

    New Shop

Is it maybe a punch station? Also, what you call a shear is actually a brake, for bending metal.
