This is close the one I ordered is the one model aboce witht he gripe latch feature...
Emailed the guys at Bendpak and they are sending me a new switch with a longer arm and told me I needed to adjust the release cable a tighter...
The support has been awesome from Jeff and the guys ! Glad I got the Bendpak !
Finished it and rotated the tires on my truck this evening!!
Only issue I had was the off side latch is slow to release and you have to push the lever all the way down . It is fairly easy to have on latch release and the other still engaged .
I think I have a little to much slack in the cable...
Got the wiring done and the arms on this evening and test ran it.
Very smooth after getting the air out. I may need to adjust the cables some more since the power side leads the other slightly. I torqued the base bolts to 100 ftlbs to make sure they were solid. One took about 1 turn to click...
I am in the process of putting my XPR-10-ACX up and I understand the arms can be configured asymmetric or symmetric It was one of my buying points.
Plus lower pad height + Certification + documented customer support.
I was missing the anchor bolts in my box and Jeff had them there over night !
Thanks man, I went out to look again and a couple have 5 threads showing others are 3 a couple at 4 maybe a couple only 2.5 showing. I started them all the same way with the stud even at the top of the nut.
I got it bolted down wished I read this again I have about 5/8 " of thread maybe 3/4 " on a couple of the bolts sticking through the nuts after tightening.
Am I screwed???
Can I loosen and tap them down and try again ?
Thanks location 1 will be it and I'll reduce the room to 18 feet.
Next question how far in from the door us best ?
I'll be lifting my Yukon xl as probably the longest vehical .
My doors roll up btw so they do not extend out into the shop.
14.5 side walls on the shop too and this is the gable...
I am close to standing the thing up and bolting it down and I am having second thoughts.... I was planning to use location 1.
I did a quick sketch of the shop and the plans...
Bendpak XPR-10ACX lift fwiw..
Well my home email seems to have let me down...
I called and talked to Matt in customer service but he needs a serial number and build date before he will ship the parts.
I resent the email to Jeff as well with my invoice just in case he can help.
I'll get the information off the lift this...
Gee I hope not...
Everything was packaged well and wrapped in plastic so I think all the parts boxes were here that were originally packaged...
Shop is a bit cluttered but I was pretty careful as I unpacked things...
There were several boxes with small parts... upper switch and wire + cover...
Thanks Jeff !!
The comments concerning customer support from you and Bendpak were a big consideration on my purchase.
I was wondering where can I get some touch up paint ( blue ) I have a little shipping rash in areas mainly on the base plate Id like to touch up.
I've not looked the arms much...
I just brought my Bendpak XPR-10ACX home and unloaded it off the trailer today.
I was going through the parts and I do not find any anchor bolts.
The instructions indicated Bendpak supplies the proper bolts.
Other than that I am pleased with it so far.
Just want to know if I need call those...
Hey guys finally joined up after reading a lot learning about lifts etc...
In short I'm married 4 kids and 2 cars a 87 Buick GN and a 77 Pontiac TA.
I am trying to get my shop in order and just brought home my first lift.
