    Thanks I searched for that recent thread but couldn’t find. I find that strapping helps give a bit of clearance from wire and pipe runs and helps level the ceiling enough to not be noticeable. Appreciate the help! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Hi All - I'm hanging some drywall on my basement ceiling for a mudroom and I've added Strapping on the ceiling at 24 inch on center. What thickness drywall do I use with 24" spans? Will 1/2" sheets sag over time? thanks
