    also... that release stem IS the overload also. in your last picture the distance between the packing nut and the ajustment nut. a quick measurement with calipers will let you re-sit this to original. when you get the unit apart look into the bore for the piston very carefully. they are pitted...

    Walmart super tech brakeclean/ carb cleaner works very well. takes paint and nearly everything else. A couple of machine shops here keep the stock low so getting any kind of hit and miss..... WORKS GREAT AT 99 CENTS A CAN HERE. i also use it for gun cleaningbefore hoppys and new oil.

    Questions about an older floor jack

    It Is a weaver Looks to be a 4 or 10 ton. on a first look a 10 ton has loadwheels that are almost 6 inches tall. Easy jack to repair. when ordering a kit pay attention to the pump shaft size. they did make some changes along the wayWeaver STILL builds that jack and it still looks the same!

You need a hand impact driver. 3/8 drive with the bits is the normal for moving them. the tube will have several hundred foot pounds of torque on it,,, takes about 5 feet od cheater pipe to break it loose. will need that kind of torque to...
