Moving garage door from gable end to the side

Post-tension was the best I could come up with searching the internet. The framing for the garage is basically 2x4s bolted to the concrete for the walls. Photos are from under the garage of the concrete ceiling

Moving garage door from gable end to the side

That's what we are hoping to do in the future to go out to the pool and incorporate the garages basement somehow. Unfortunately the garages basement is full of junk (old lathe, wood, car parts etc) that's buried in about a foot of dirt/mud from flooding about 6 years ago. Graded across the...

Moving garage door from gable end to the side

Definitely not room for a header on the side of the garage. Didnt even think of French or barn doors so I think I'll look into those options. That would probably give me a nice cross breeze on hot days too. Thanks everyone!

Moving garage door from gable end to the side

Old photo from when we moved in but best one I could find off hand. The wide angle makes the wall with the man door look smaller than it is. Garage is roughly 12x24

Moving garage door from gable end to the side

Detached garage was built in the 50s. It has a basement under it as well (post-tension concrete I believe). The current door is on the gable end of the garage with a man door on the side near it. I am wanting to move the garage door to where the man door is. We don't park in the garage...

How would you approach this (panels/wiring)

So, is this about like what you're saying except there would be two disconnects to feed the separate circuits? Sorry for the sloppy diagram. I'll be having my father help me install everything (I can't gain years of experience from research and don't want a fire etc.) but I want to have a plan...

How would you approach this (panels/wiring)

I suppose it would have helped if I included that in the original post. I was just curious how anyone here would go about running power to a detached garage from one of those two panels. I know how I plan on doing it for the future shop but not something simpler with just a disconnect switch...

How would you approach this (panels/wiring)

The first two photos are the two main panels coming from the 2 service meters. One feeds the basement/1st floor and the other for the second floor. I also included a photo of the subpanel from the 1st floor if anyone was curious about that. Thanks everyone!!

How would you approach this (panels/wiring)

Purchased this home recently, was a duplex when we bought it but has since been converted to a single home with the exception of still having two electrical meters (this doesn't bother me). Wanted to get some different opinions on this and, if it were you, the route you would go that's cost...
