I used 3M spray adhesive to get each layer to stick together. Then once that is dry spray the whole thing in plasti dip. It keeps those individual squares from popping out after repeated use. I did it on an apache case that i use for my camera and it worked awesome. Highly recommend.
should i put underlay under the rolled roofing that i am using as a patch? I got the peel and stick roofing from HD. My plan was to smear on sealant underneath where the patch is going, directly on the plywood sheathing, get it up under the overlap the best i can and then slide in my patch. Is...
When you talk about the "patch" are you thinking get a roll of flat roofing and cut out what i need and then put something like the Henry wet patch on the edges and seams? Assume i would reinforce with fiberglass tape?
A small portion of the flat, rolled roof over my porch had been notched out by the previous owner since a tree was very close to it. Long story short, I had the tree cut down and have framed the fascia out and now need to add roofing and drip edge above it. I received quotes that were $6-800...
I ended up saving a beat to death ‘06 1765 tradesman from a scrap pile. Came off a service truck that the tech had sheared off the pins that hold the nut in place. I’ve been wanting a bigger “beater“ for the house so I was able to snag it and breathe a little new life into it so I can be easy on...
I don’t have any M12 (yet). Have a bunch of M18 but my M18 driver with a 5.0 battery is real heavy and bulky for the smaller jobs and intend to have more small stuff than big
Looking to get an M12 impact driver. I currently have all M18 stuff but think the lighter weight and less bulk is very appealing. Saw this deal on Home Depot. Is this worth jumping on or should I hold off for Black Friday? I like that it has 3 batteries which makes adding additional bare tools...
unfortunately, you have to buy the whole assembly and cant get just the pins. I am thinking about buying some 1/4" steel rod and seeing how well that works.
Any leads on an end cap?
I got a beat to death ‘05 1765tradesman off of a service truck. The tech somehow stripped/sheared the pins that hold the vise nut in. I was able to get one out but not the other. Wilton was completely unhelpful when I inquired about replacements. Does anyone know where I could find them or size...
I’m using the correct yellow insulators. It is not near any other power source. Power at both wires is fine, it’s just jumping to the existing fence somehow, which I just can’t seem to solve.
Not in the garage but the fence surrounding my garage:
I added an electric fence to an existing t-post fence and have managed to electrify the whole fence, i have walked the perimeter probably 5 times and cannot find anywhere that the wires are touching the existing fence.
its t-post...
Yes it is an older house (1954), and the previous owners had plants and ferns that were jam up next to the structure which didnt help
Still trying to get their years of neglect rectified....
