Hmmm.
funny now that I remeber correctly when we first installed the lift, by buddy who is a contractor set the anchors with the non-rotational method and told me why he did it this way. I just thought he was doing it "his" way and we all know how contractors can be
The Concrete is 40 years...
I have just checked my anchors the Weg-it way and all of mine were properly set. I have a strog feeling that once the lift is installed and used then re-tightend, which I suggest doing when a car is on the lift (I use a 12V Impact) they are fine no matter who's instructions are used.
At first I was leary about the MaxJax too, but with almost a year's worth of use and having larger (and heavier) cars & truck on it than my squarebird, I am sold on it!
It is so damn useful and quick to setup/tear down that I couldn't imagine not having one!

I worked at a shop with one 2-post and three 4-post Bendpack lifts for over 5 years of 7 day a week 12 hour days. In that time we did not have ONE issue with any of the lifts.
This prompted me to acquire 2 Ranger (Bendpak) motorcycle lifts and a BendPak compressor for my current daily work...
I hung up my Campy tool kit professionally over 10 years ago now, and have stowed most of my Park & Pedro's tools deep into my rollaway... This thread has made me want to add a bike wing to the garage. Thanks guys!
I had the same issue with my Maxjax and found the issue to be heat.
It seems that when I disconnected the hoses, I let one of the hoses lay out in the direct sun on a day in the high-80's, so when I tried to reconnect the line was totally locked up due to the expansion of the fluid in the line...
Having this thing for the longest amount of time of anyone on this board, I can tell you I have had ZERO need or want to swap my MaxJax for any other lift out there.
It does exactly what i need it to do with my Bikes Cars & ATVs and it can be moved easily into a corner when not in use.

Miatas, Minis and STIs?!?!?!?
When are you guys going to really start testing the limits of your MaxJax :)
