I love my Arcan jack from Costco. The range is from 2.5" to 21" and only cost $65. It was heavy but now there is an aluminum replacement at $99. If you belong to Costco, it's worth checking out. There jacks are very robust and mine has been trouble free as well.

Anyone have any experience with Eppys.com tool club? Is it worth the trouble joining or am I better off just shopping around like I usually do for mechanics tools, etc? I'm about to pick up an E46 330i BMW and will need all sorts of tools to supplement the tool set I have used for working on...

I have the Motive as well and have used it many times on my Integra. I like the fact that it fills the reservoir as you bleed so you don't have to keep checking the fluid level as you bleed/flush. Just make sure your seal at the reservoir is good otherwise fluid will start pooring out. Cleaning...

Funny, I think that was the seller I contacted about that vise. I decided not to go with that one for some reason. I'm not good with compulsive purchases! As for mine, I just installed it on my bench and plan on using it this weekend. I can tell you that there is absolutely no "slop" anywhere...

The $180 price included the $13 shipping cost.

I must have been in a hurry when I put the tools away from my last car project because I just found that I left both of my craftsman torque wrenches set above the halfway point. I think the manual says not to store them above 25%. I left them like this a month ago. Do you think I should get them...

Thanks everyone for their advice on this. I ended up buying theRIDGID/66987 F-45 4-1/2"" Machinist Vise Swivel Base for $180 shipped from robertstool.com. The site says it ships 7-10 days but I got it in 5. The vise is very sturdy, made in Germany and suits my needs perfectly. Now to move on to...
