    50's Cornwell box value?

Hell. I'd mail you the top one. I just came up with the idea of sandblasting and painting the bottom box and making it a stand for my turntable in my living room.

    50's Cornwell box value?

They're actually in decent mechanical shape. I just went out and slide all the drawers when taking the picture. When I was sliding I thought "This is why I bought these". 50-60 years later and they still are so smooth!

    50's Cornwell box value?

I'm trying to clean up my garage. Three toolboxes is too much for my little 2 car garage. I believe the top box is a 50's Cornwell and the bottom is a Craftsman. The cornwell has a sticker from New Jersey 1963. I was thinking $80 for the pair on my local (DFW) CL. Can I get some opinions?

    Vintage snap on holy grail

I had just found it on another website and thought you guys would go nuts, just like me. Funny it's come full circle to right back here. Traveled allll the way around the internet in just 24 hours. I wish it was mine. I'd give a lot to have it.

    Chaser Kits?/Chasers VS Taps

I'm about to build a small block chevy. I really want to chase the threads before I assemble the motor. I really feel like I get a far more accurate tourqe reading with clean threads. I have a brand new Snap-On tap & Die set, but I fear the taps, being so new they may cut some threads. I've...

    Rivet help. No clue

Pics of this? It would have to be a weak weak shock I would think, but what a good idea. No one else thinks thats a good idea?

    Rivet help. No clue

I'm slowly working on this snap on top box. The hinges are hammered. The metal could use some work. I'd like to clean them up, and straighten them up. Problem is, I've only been around rivets one time so I basically know nothing. Would it be possible to remove these, and reinstall with some...

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

I don't think I've posted these here yet. I just finished up straigtening a LOT of the dents and tweeking it back to square so the top sits correctly on the mid box. I'm very proud of these three boxes. I though I'd never find a mid box. I need some major body work on the top box, then they're...

    Damaged KR 58B- restoration advice.

I went out and straigtened the middle box, and worked on some minor dings on the top box. I sure like bumping the metal straight again. It's a very satisfying feeling. I still haven't done anything with that corner. Once it's done I'll powder coat this sucker. This definitely isn't something I...
