How to Clean Paint Spill from Concrete?

Thanks, benny. I tried soaking in Goof Off, it did nothing. Too late for SpillFix as the paint was already pretty much dry by the time I discovered it. If the stain is still there come spring I'll borrow the brother-in-law's power washer. Or just ignore it.

    Racedeck Freeflow

I thought about putting down fabric but decided against it as I was concerned about dampness. Pittsburgh gets enough rain and snow that I didn't want to risk mold/mildew/etc. It clicks a bit but doesn't bother me at all.

RaceDeck on the way. Any pointers?

http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=252823 I just used a leaf blower to clean prior to install; didn't want any tile sitting on pebbles, leaves, etc.

Prior to installing garage floor tile question.

Personally I wouldn't bother, but if you want to here's some info: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=254960

New guy... Old question no doubt...

Guess we need to know a little more. If you have an epoxy floor, why do you feel you need anything on top of it?

New Shop... Where's the cheapest place to buy Tuff Seal or Racedeck?

That was my experience too. I suspect their prices are lower in the winter off-season, but not likely you want to wait.

race deck? Local garage plastic tile installer

I recently installed a Racedeck floor, and I too thought it was kind of fun. Cutting the tiles took some time, but not too bad. It's the kind of job where you can see the progress you're making.

    Garage Flooring Advice

The tiles are hard plastic sitting on concrete, so there is a tapping sound when you walk on them. Kind of like a woman's high heels on a wood floor. It certainly doesn't bother me, and I haven't had the floor in long enough to get dirt under the tiles, so I can't help with the crunching...

My Racedeck Install Experience and Results

I had no problem getting the tiles to snap, but my floor didn't have "lumpiness" like you describe. The snaps are flexible in the sense that they allow some bending, but might not not accommodate your situation. You could contact Racedeck and ask their advice, or ask them to send you a couple...

My Racedeck Install Experience and Results

Particular thanks to Jennifer Storms at Snaplock (Racedeck) for patiently answering my many questions. When ordering, ask Racedeck about a Garage Journal member discount. It saved me money. Cleaning and painting the garage was a real chore, but putting down the tile itself was pretty easy...

Advice on what to put under plastic tiles

No direct experience, but I have read that using landscape fabric under tile can cause mold and mildew if it stays wet - for instance, if cars in rain and snow are often parked on it.

Any option involving "do nothing for a year" sounds good to me.

How to Clean Paint Spill from Concrete?

Soaked stain in Goof-Off and scrubbed with brush and water. No change. I'm not surprised since the paint is soaked into the concrete. Sometime I'll borrow a pressure washer - that should make a difference.
